I’ve been reflecting on something lately, and I’m genuinely curious how others see it. It concerns contemporary spirituality and personal development culture. There is so much language today about: • sovereignty • alignment • stepping into your highest self • expanding your capacity • becoming more powerful • building your own container And at first glance, much of this sounds healthy. Especially for wounded people. Healing matters. Growth matters. Learning to stand upright matters. But I find myself asking: What is the final direction of this growth? Is it toward deeper communion , or toward a more refined form of self-centeredness? In the Christian tradition (and especially in the Eastern understanding of theosis), the goal of spiritual ascent is not self-expansion but participation in divine life. To become “like God” does not mean becoming sovereign and self-defining. It means becoming self-giving. God is not an isolated super-self. God is communion. Love poured out. If the cup is filled with divine love, the natural movement is overflow. First toward family, then friends, then community, and ultimately the world. Not: “How do I enlarge my cup?” But: “How do I let it pour?” What I sometimes sense in modern spirituality is a subtle shift. The starting point is often healing wounded individuals. This is good. But if the path never moves beyond “my alignment,” “my energy,” “my fulfillment,” then the ascent stalls. It can even invert. Because a spirituality centered on “my highest good” risks becoming a polished form of egocentrism, even if it feels expansive, powerful, luminous. There is a real difference between: • being filled so you can give and • being filled so you can feel more full. One leads to communion. The other can quietly lead to isolation, even if it feels intoxicating. This doesn’t mean self-denial in a pathological way. It doesn’t mean pleasing others at the expense of well-being. On the contrary: You must be rooted, healed, strengthened.

Open the eye of gratitude. Surround yourself with people that you love and love you back, your heart will know which ones those are. Don’t erase, but set boundaries with codependent/toxic relationships, your gut will know which ones those are. Speak your truth with integrity but be willing to be misunderstood and judged. Stay silent until you hear your own voice with clarity. “Nothing is more holy than the integrity of one's own soul.” Don’t be afraid of your own mind because you will be with it until you die. As your mind is holy the mind of others is also holy. Be as honest as you can, don’t pollute other minds with lies, but remember that some things, if spoken, lose their meaning. Others are not your master or your slave, just co-passengers on a rollercoaster with fears and dreams, just like you. Most ideas are defined by their opposite, map out the polarities to find balance. I’m trying to find balance, but it’s hard, the pendulum always swings and the 0 point is an asymptote. But it’s the only way to live in concord with others and nature, A common agreement to try to sustain balance. Don’t expect others to see the world as you do, You have to try to respect others even when you don’t understand them. The most revolutionary thing you can do is “Love your Enemy.” You and I are ‘lucky’ to be alive. Because there is a past we are here, because we are here the future is uncertain, it’s true if we like it or not. Your heroes and ideals are invented. If you believe they exist, they can become your worst judge. They are only meant to guide you towards a place that is not a destination. Don’t expect or want anything from the world. Just let your heart aim towards a direction, start walking and be grateful for whatever comes your way. Trust the process, trust yourself, trust G_d. There is always movement, As there is something that contains all movement. There is something infinite in a moment, as there is something finite to a whole lifetime. Who you are is the only question you can answer.

Hey All, So abit about me my name is Elijah I’m 23 years old, from Sunshine Coast Australia, I grew up here, out in the country in a permaculture village/community I’ve done a little bit of travelling around the world not as much as I’d like, but will get there ;) what called me to this movement was that, its authenticity to the self and the positive creation I see it has, and my intuition was what really called me here. My mission going forward is that I want to bring awareness to the world, not just awareness on certain matters but awareness as it’s core system, so far I’ve made a YouTube channel that I’ve been posting abit on and while try my very best to turn it into something with a long reach, I’ve also spent the last 4-5 months learning financial trading, and will continue to sculpt my skills here, I’m moving to Canada in 3 months and am very excited about that (slightly nervous to) But I hope you learned a little bit about me and I hope to get to know you and learn as much as I can.
