Want Your Resume to Tell a Story That Stands Out?
Most resumes list what you did. The best ones show who you are and the impact you make. Resume storytelling is about more than just job titles and bullet points—it’s about connecting the dots and showing the journey behind your skills. Here’s how to get started: - Highlight results, not just responsibilities - Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) for your bullet points - Weave in your “why”—what motivates you and what you’re proud of - Make every line count toward the story you want employers to remember Ready to transform your resume into a powerful story? Drop your draft or a bullet point below for feedback—or share a win where your resume opened a door! Let’s help each other craft resumes that get noticed for all the right reasons.

🚦 Building an ATS-Friendly Resume: Get Seen, Get Interviews!
Tired of sending your resume into a black hole? It might be the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) blocking your shot. Here’s how to beat the bots and get noticed: 1️⃣ Keep It Simple: Use a clean format—no tables, fancy graphics, or text boxes. Stick to standard fonts (Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman). 2️⃣ Use Keywords: Scan the job description for must-have skills and requirements. Mirror those exact keywords in your resume—especially in your summary, skills, and experience sections. 3️⃣ Standard Headings: Label sections as “Experience,” “Education,” “Skills,” etc. ATS loves clear, common titles. 4️⃣ Save as PDF or .docx: Unless the posting says otherwise, these formats are safest for ATS. 5️⃣ Proofread: Typos can confuse the system and cost you interviews. Action Step: Take one job you want. Highlight keywords in the description. Update your resume with those words, and check your format for simplicity. Got questions or want feedback? Drop your draft in the Community Support/Q&A thread! Let’s get your resume past the robots—and onto a recruiter’s desk. 🚀
