The Crossroads: Two Futures for Humanity. Which Path Do We Choose? 🛣️
Let's play out two scenarios for our planet's future. This isn't about fear; it's about a stark, conscious choice. PATH A: The "More" Trap (The Worst Alternative) Imagine a world where the most influential voices are those who profit from disconnection. A council led by figures from Big Pharma, Big Ag, and Fast Fashion doubles down on the message that more is better. * More chemicals in our food and soil. * More plastic wrapping our planet and filling our bodies. * More artificiality in our diets, our homes, and our experiences. Health is a pill to be sold. Nature is a resource to be extracted. Life becomes increasingly synthetic, stressful, and sick. This is the path of relentless, mindless consumption. PATH B: The "Enough" Awakening (The Best Alternative) Now, imagine the opposite. A global "Wisdom Council" forms, uniting the greatest minds in sustainable, authentic living. Their mission: to empower every person to thrive in harmony with the Earth. * Self-Sufficiency through Permaculture and regenerative design. * Zero-Waste, Plastic-Free communities as the new standard. * Chemical-Free food and medicine from healing plants. * Tranquility woven into daily life through meditation and connection. Houses are integrated with nature. People are alive, aligned, and inspired. Wellness isn't a product; it's the baseline state of a life well-lived. We are at this crossroads now. Every choice we make—from the food we buy to the way we design our lives—is a vote for one of these futures. My question to you is this: 1. Which path feels inevitable if we stay on autopilot? 2. What's one practice from "Path B" (like gardening, meditation, reducing waste) that makes you feel more alive and grounded right now? 3. If you could instantly adopt one aspect of the "Wisdom Council's" vision, what would it be? Let's make the desirable inevitable. Share your thoughts below.
Can I revive these?
I was gifted two cala lily plants that were overwatered and neglected. Can I revive them? I will transfer to new containers and I read to remove any mushy roots. What about the foliage? Should I cut some or all of it?

🌍 Let’s Talk About Communities 🌿
When we think about living closer to nature and in alignment with our values, community often plays a big role. There are many types of communities out there, each with its own vision and structure: 🏡 Intentional Communities – groups of people choosing to live together based on shared values like sustainability, spirituality, or cooperation. 🌱 Eco-Villages & Permaculture Projects – focusing on regenerative living, growing food, and creating self-sufficiency. 🤝 Co-Living Spaces – often in cities or remote places, where people share resources, work together, and build strong social connections. 💫 Wellness & Retreat Communities – built around healing, mindfulness, and personal growth. ✨ Some communities are highly structured with clear rules, while others are more flexible and focus on shared culture and cooperation. 💬 I’d love to hear from you: 1. Have you ever visited or lived in such a community? 2. Which type resonates most with you right now? 3. Do you know of other forms of communities that inspire you? Together, we can explore what community really means in today’s world — and how we can bring more of that spirit into our own lives. 🌿💚
🌿 Community Question Time 🌿
Hey everyone, I’m curious to know – are you familiar with LETS (Local Exchange Trading Systems)? 💡It’s a community-based way of trading goods and services without money, built on trust, fairness, and mutual support. For example, instead of paying cash, you could exchange homemade jam for gardening help, or a yoga session for fresh veggies 🥒🍓🧘. 👉 Have you ever tried something like this? 👉 Do you think a system like this could work in our circles here? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences! 🌱✨ @everyone
