Win-Win: Growing the Community and Your Account ๐Ÿ’›
Hi everyone! โœจ Just a quick but important update (especially for those of you creating content for the group): Iโ€™ve set up a dedicated Instagram account for The Nail Tech Corner ๐Ÿ‘‰ @thenailtechcorner. The goal of this account is twofold: 1. To grow its own presence as a discoverable, standalone platform. 2. To support you by driving more attention and traffic back to your personal/business pages. ๐Ÿ’ก How you can make the most of it - Use your own Instagram to talk about the group! This could be through reels, posts, or stories where you: Share a tip or piece of content youโ€™ve created for the group, and/or mention that people can get access by joining through your invite link. - You can put your link in your bio for easy access, or DM it directly to anyone who comments on your posts (this also doubles as a great engagement booster for you). ๐Ÿค Collaboration option If you want, you can tag @thenailtechcorner as a collaborator on your posts. That way, your content will automatically publish onto this account as well. Iโ€™ll also be actively building its audience, so your posts will gain extra reach from both sides. The big picture here is to create a flow where: 1. The Nail Tech Corner Instagram grows as its own page. 2. Your content gets more visibility from being featured on it. 3. New members join the group through your links, giving you credit (and commission) for the growth. I really want this to be a win-win - for the community, for the account, and for you individually as contributors. ๐ŸŒป
Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) ๐Ÿ‘ค
Something that will almost change your life (or at least your business): Deciding who your services and business are for! I want to help as many of you as I can with growing your businesses, so let's go riiiiight to the very beginning - in the most simplified way possible. In the comments, answer just this one question (really think about your answer): Describe your dream client in one paragragh. How old are they? Do they work? Are they studying? Do they have kids? What type of music do they listen to? Go into as much detail as possible, but be so specific that it sounds like only one person. I'll then DM you each individually and we can get started with your own individualised plan to grow your business x
Edited content
Hello! I'm reaching out to ask how everyone edits their content. I currently use canva, I pay $20 a month and then edit using the tiktok function for trending sounds and effects. Do you have a preferred method? And is it expensive?

Missed the call or short on time? Hereโ€™s the quick breakdown ๐Ÿ‘‡ (First of all - I do apologize about the bird and my foul language ๐Ÿฅฒ) This session was all about what a brand actually is and why itโ€™s one of the biggest factors in building a strong client base. A lot of nail techs think branding means logos, colours, and an aesthetic feed. Those things do helpโ€ฆ but theyโ€™re not the brand. Your brand is the meaning people attach to your name. When someone hears your name, what do they instantly think of? โ€ข insanely detailed nail art โ€ข luxury manicures โ€ข flawless structureโ€ข the nail health girl Those associations donโ€™t happen by accident. Theyโ€™re built through repetition. Every time someone sees your work, your content, or your salon experience, their brain is linking: your name + a specific idea Over time, that link becomes automatic. And thatโ€™s when people start saying things like: โ€œIโ€™ve been wanting to book with you for ages.โ€โ€œI heard youโ€™re amazing at nail art.โ€ Thatโ€™s branding doing its job. A few key takeaways from the call: โ€ข A brand is a mental shortcut. Itโ€™s what people instantly associate with your name. โ€ข Consistency builds strong brands. When your content repeatedly reinforces the same message, the association becomes stronger. โ€ข Random content weakens your brand. If your page is a mix of unrelated posts, the brain canโ€™t categorise what youโ€™re known for. โ€ข Strong brands usually start narrow. Trying to appeal to everyone makes it harder for people to remember what you specialise in. โ€ข Branding reduces price comparison. When clients associate you with something specific, they stop looking for the cheapest option and start looking for you. The goal isnโ€™t to post more. The goal is to become known for something. Because when someone in your area thinks: โ€œI want really good nail art.โ€ โ€ฆand your name pops into their head firstโ€ฆ thatโ€™s when your brand starts working for you. ๐Ÿ’…

Inviting us to collaborate on IG ๐Ÿ’›
A few members have recently requested to collaborate on posts on our IG, and WE LOVE THAT! I will accept the collaboration posts IF: - In the post, the community is mentioned and you are inviting new members to join - Your invite link is findable in your bio Iโ€™m doing this to stop clutter on our feed, while still providing you an opportunity to appear on our feed to attract new potential members to your invite link. If there is no clear Call To Action to join the community, it may confuse the followers as to why theyโ€™re seeing that post ๐Ÿซถ
