Why SFH investments can be a disaster and my learnings after 2 weeks...
I have to share as i was enraged yesterday and the reason why I am moving from SFH to Multifamily... I have way too much risk with one rent only and equity sat in the property. Tenant left the house in the below state. House had been fully refurbished before they moved in..... Dealing with a 10 to 15k bill before I sell and close the chapter... Just learnt from leanings here Lake County Florida, 67% owner vs renters. COC is negative and capital growth over 15 years sits at 1% per annum... Just thought might be good to share horror stories and learnings...
