I was the kid who was chosen last in P.E.
I was one of the few who didn't make it to a "UC" for college.
I was always trying to "keep up with the Joneses".
"What car do you drive?"
"Who do you work for?"
"Where do you live?"
"What do you do?"
"Who are you?" I asked myself one day.
And that's when I started working on myself.
Things started to change when I shifted my energy to what I wanted to do, who I wanted to be, and what made me happy.
When I focused on myself without seeking validation from others, I felt the happiest — and that’s what ultimately led me to more success, more friends, more praise, and more respect.
So if you're feeling stuck like I was,
It's okay to take a step back.
It's okay to not "fit in" and be different.
It's okay to prioritize your happiness and well-being first.
In the end, it's your life. You should do what makes you happy.
