Working out shouldn’t be a chore
It used to be a chore. I would drag myself to weights in the morning and I couldn’t give my body the stimulus it needed to grow and become stronger because my mind wasn’t in it. I didn’t know why we’re doing the movements, I didn’t know what I should be feeling, I wasn’t educated. I think it is imperative to understand what a movement will do for your body in order to: 1. Get stronger and be committed to reaching that goal and 2. Have a real desire and joy in performing strength-training. Having educated myself, my mindset about training has completely changed. I am rebuilding my body and I am having fun doing it.
