Looking for a little advise on material thickness. I would like to build this display to go on top of my bar cabinet. I will be using 1 in sq tubing mild steel, might order it pickled if not too much more $$$ but struggling with thickness for 2 reasons, weight and cost. This will be a Tig project as my mig will not see this. 😁. Let me know your thoughts on material thickness, tungsten color and size, cup type and size, and amps please. Thank you

Whats up people?
I am a mechanical engineer that has been working in the after market automotive industry for a decade. My fab skills come from working on rusty cars like my 99 Jeep XJ. I design custom parts for my own vehciles but mostly use 3D printing so far. Recently, I purchased a plasma cutter (no table yet) and a welder to eventually get setup at my house. These will require a new run of 240v before hooking up. As soon as they are hooked up, I will be off to the races because CAD design and idea generation is my proficient skill set. Looking forward to learning from this group how to best setup my machines for maximum quality and serviceability. Also want to learn about ventilation needs and consumables.
