๐Ÿ† Week 7 Recap: We Broke Into the Top 10,000 Skool Communities Live On The Call
What a week, fam. Here is everything we covered on Episode 7 of the Monthly Creative Academy show.
๐Ÿš€ We hit a big milestone live on the call
  • We jumped into the top 10,000 Skool communities during the show, moving from around 13,800 to rank 9,740 by the end of the call.
  • All organic. All with just 29 members. We are one member away from 30.
  • Shoutout to Sarah, our top contributor on the all-time leaderboard. The leaderboard now has level names, and we are planning prizes (1-on-1 coaching, virtual producer sessions) once we hit 100 members.
๐Ÿง  Content OS recap
  • Our first live Content OS workshop happened the day before. The replay is pinned in the community.
  • You can duplicate the Content OS straight into your own Notion from the Classroom.
  • It is built for one thing: message clarity. Simple over fancy.
  • The video on our About page (script plus motion graphics) was made entirely with the Content OS. No keyframes. No manual editing.
  • Next step after setup is the 3-day content challenge.
๐Ÿ“ˆ Organic example: "Juan Direction" (Tigran Landscaping)
  • A local landscaping team became social media stars with imperfect, relatable content.
  • The formula: POV-style on-screen text plus action happening. One shoot gives you 3 pieces (BTS, final result, and the BTS of the BTS).
  • They landed brand deals with Hyundai and trips to Disneyland and the World Cup, all from top-of-funnel content.
  • Their business page runs the hire-us content with high-quality results, proving they deliver.
  • Big takeaway: attention is just the start. You have to deliver on it. Shot on a phone in natural light. Story and on-screen text matter more than gear. Keep it genuine to you.
๐Ÿ’ฐ Ads talk
  • Best move: turn your organic winners into ads. Do not treat organic and paid as two separate worlds.
  • Paid ads are not linear. Leads cluster in ways you cannot predict day to day.
  • "Judging an ad after one day is like judging a workout plan after one gym session."
  • A full campaign layers content across the funnel: entertainment, then category education, then before-and-after, then a direct call to action.
  • High cost per customer? Find the bottleneck: ad copy, landing page, checkout, or lead capture.
  • Hooks 101 (50 hook formulas) is in the Classroom. It works for organic, ads, emails, and blogs. Duplicate it and let Notion AI rewrite the examples in your brand voice.
๐ŸŽ‰ Client win: 1879 (Sealy, TX)
  • 500,000 views on Meta in about 10 weeks.
  • Sold 998 tickets to their soft opening in 4 days, with most nights selling out before opening.
  • That is about 13% of the whole town buying tickets.
๐Ÿค– Notion AI demo
  • Esai showed how to generate YouTube keywords from a personal playbook using the Notion AI chat.
  • Big tip: personalize your AI assistant with custom instructions (name, role, style, boundaries, memory rules).
  • Use the voice input button to talk through ideas. Attach your playbook and brand voice guide for context.
  • Motion graphics workflow in Premiere Pro: hand the AI a script, get animated slides (horizontal and vertical), no keyframing needed.
  • Notion Business includes around 10 AI images a day. Every classroom image came from the Content OS.
๐Ÿ”ฅ Mindset: win in the micro
  • Every big win is built in the small daily reps. Habits compound like investing or fitness.
  • Mr. Beast, Gary Vee, and the Hormozis all won by doing boring, consistent work over time.
  • "Losing is guaranteed if you stop."
  • For anyone posting their first piece: make it imperfect on purpose. If it does not feel a little cringy, it is too polished.
See you next week. Keep posting. ๐Ÿ’ช
