Episode 14 Replay: NOTHING RIDES THE TRUCK WITHOUT AN AUDITION
We spent four episodes teaching you how to test content. Today we finally answered the part nobody asks out loud. What do you do when something actually works? Short answer. It has to audition first. Three signals decide it. Views are not one of them. Two of the three and it earns your ad money. One and you run it again a different way. Zero and you let it go, no matter how proud of it you are. The exact numbers to look for are in the replay. Also in there: - The three numbers I check before a single dollar goes behind a post, including one with a target most people have never heard of - Why the Boost button is the most expensive shortcut in marketing, plus the two other ad killers quietly draining budgets in this group - How one of you got cost per registration down to 8.97, and the messy test that found it - The landscaping account doing skits for millions of views, and why copying them would probably hurt your business - A story about clay pots that explains why your best content is still ahead of you - Everything we shipped in the Content OS this month, including the deeper Brand Discovery The prompt that scores your last 10 posts and names your winner is pinned in the first comment. Run it. Then post your winner and the verdict you got. Truck, re-angle, or let it go. If it passed, put it in the wins category so we can all see it. Quick community update. There are 239 of us now. 210 joined in the last 30 days at 19.1% on cold traffic, with a few days hitting 28.5%. One more thing. The Accelerator founding cohort starts August 31. Click by click ad account setup, distribution training, and posting straight out of the Content OS. DM me or Melissa if you want in. Watch it, then go audition your best post. Most of you are about to learn something uncomfortable about your favorite one. That is the useful part.

Client Content Capture Day 🎥📸
Esai and I are on the road today.🚘 We will be capturing content for one of our Monthly Creative clients. Bonus: This is for an Italian restaurant client so we’ll be taste testing their menu first hand for research purposes. 😎🤌 Last quarter, we captured a lot of their content foundations such as their brand story and mid-construction “before” content. Today we’re going to be focusing on capturing: - Food and beverages - Staff - Patron testimonials - Organic and paid ready content It goes without saying, but important to share that it is a privilege to work with clients that we genuinely enjoy working with. Their wins are our wins. When they succeed so do we. So our job as their content marketing team is to make sure that we help them win by taking action to get them the results they need for their business. So drop a comment and let us know what action are you taking to move the needle for your business today? Let’s do this. 🙌

Content Foundations is live (6 of 8)
Six of the eight Content Foundations lessons are now live in the Classroom, under Start Here. That is the entire first half of the system, in order: 1. What you are actually building, and why more posting has not fixed it 2. Your one offer, one page, one call to action 3. Whether your offer is ready for strangers yet 4. Where your audience already is, so you stop starting from zero 5. Scriptwriting. Writing a script for one person instead of "my audience" 6. Production. Filming and editing in 3 simple steps. 7. Coming Soon. 8. Coming Soon. Lesson 6 is the one I would not skip. I film a real piece start to finish, on screen. The script comes out of the Content OS, goes into the teleprompter, gets filmed, edited, captioned, and posted. Nothing hidden, including the awkward parts. Watch them in order. Each one hands you something the next one needs. If you jump straight to Lesson 6 you will be filming a script you have not written yet. If you have not unlocked the Content OS, that takes 5 likes in the community. Introduce yourself and share what you are working on, and it opens up. What is coming 📢 Lesson 7 is distribution. Where your content goes, what each placement is actually responsible for, and how paid advertising fits in. Lesson 8 closes it out. You find your one bottleneck and what it takes to remove it. Start at Lesson 1 today. Even if you have been making content for years, Lesson 2 is where most people find the thing that has quietly been costing them.

Let's goooo 🔥🔥🔥
The Content OS just got an upgrade 🛠️
Howdy y'all. I just pushed a round of updates to the Content OS, and I recorded a walkthrough so you can see exactly what changed. Here's the short version. 🎯 Setup Your Brand is now numbered No more guessing where to start. The steps are laid out in order, so you just work top to bottom. 🎤 Brand Discovery got deeper I rewrote the questions to pull better answers out of you. That one exercise fills out three documents at once: your Database of Truth, your One Offer, and your Brand Voice Guide. Do it out loud. Hit "start transcribing" and talk. When we type, we clean ourselves up and lose our real voice. When we talk, the AI hears your cadence and the words you actually use. I say "howdy" and "y'all," so my content should reflect, howdy and y'all. That's the whole point. Plan for 30 to 40 minutes if you've been in business a while, 10 to 20 if you're newer. When you're done, copy the prompt at the bottom, paste it to your AI assistant, and it fills in your diagnosis, brand voice guide, database of truth, audience bank, and the details of your One Offer. If something's missing, it'll ask you for it. 🤖 More AI models inside the OS Opus, Fable 5, GPT, Kimi K, Grok, Gemini, plus the older ones. There's an Auto mode that picks the best model for the job. No separate ChatGPT or Claude subscription needed. I stay on the newest Opus for most things. 📅 Content blocks auto-build Open a new block in the content calendar and you get hook variations, the script, a CTA pulled from your One Offer, a B-roll shot list, and your caption. All of it runs off your brand voice and database of truth. You still need to manually review and edit. AI gets you 80 to 90% there, and the last 10% are the handful of words you change to make it sound like you. 🖼️ One reminder on Brand Assets Upload the real files. Actual logos, actual headshots, actual photos of you. The image and carousel generation results get way better when it has real material to work from. Accelerator folks: your prebuilt agents, skills library, and YouTube playbooks are ready to duplicate in. More on that soon.
