Hacks are those quirky little ideas that actually work
One example I love: a friend puts an odd item in front of his TV. Since it feels “out of place,” it forces his brain to pause and ask why is that there? That tiny disruption is enough to break the habit of nail picking when he’s doing it mindlessly.
I’ve got my own, too: I’m way more consistent with taking my supplements when they’re out on the kitchen counter which is the first thing I see in the morning.
Another favorite: setting my mat and workout clothes out the night before. It’s like leaving myself a visual “yes” for tomorrow’s workout.
