Program Reminders and Support update
Hi everyone, A few important reminders and program updates to help ensure appointments, herb ordering, and ongoing support continue to run as smoothly as possible. Photo Submission & Appointment Updates Please send updated photos approximately 48–24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment whenever possible to [email protected]. Jane App will automatically send out a follow-up form prior to your visit, and patients are welcome to complete that form directly. However, if the form feels confusing or difficult to navigate, you may instead email your photos and brief updates directly to [email protected]. These updates are not intended to repeat your full appointment discussion, more to provide concise highlights that help give context to your photos and current progress. Examples of helpful updates may include: Significant changes in symptoms • Major stressors or life events • Changes in sleep, digestion, skin, energy, or cycles Going off protocol or difficulty following recommendations • Any notable reactions or shifts since the last visit Submitting photos and updates ahead of time allows adequate time for everything to be reviewed, uploaded, and organized within your chart before your appointment. *Same day submissions can be difficult to accommodate during busy clinic days, so we greatly appreciate your support with this process. Herb Shipping & International Waiver Kamwo, the professional herbal pharmacy we source through, now requires all patients to complete an international shipping waiver prior to herbs being released for shipment. This is a mandatory part of their international compliance process. Please check your spam or junk folder regularly, as these emails frequently get filtered there. Kamwo may also send reminder emails if the waiver has not yet been completed. Please note that herbs cannot be shipped until the waiver is signed, which may delay processing timelines. Dr. Cmolik does her best to coordinate herb refills alongside upcoming appointments to support continuity of care, although shipping and processing variables can occasionally affect exact timing.

👋 Welcome to Modern Chinese Medicine
This is your online home for real, root-cause healing — the kind that goes deeper than symptom relief and empowers you to take charge of your skin, allergies, and immune health. Whether you're here for one of our programs or just getting your feet wet, you're in the right place. I created this space because too many people are still stuck in the cycle of suppression — steroid creams, inhalers, elimination diets — with no real understanding of what their body is trying to say. This isn’t that. This is a place for people ready to listen to their body — and do something about it. It's a community for healing, learning, and celebrating the progress (and messiness) of that journey. 💡 A few things to know… 1. Kindness + Curiosity First 2. We're all walking different paths — let’s meet each other with empathy, encouragement, and a genuine desire to learn and grow. 2. No Pressure to Perform This is not a "post or perish" space. You're welcome to participate in whatever way feels good for you — whether that’s watching quietly, asking questions, or chiming in when you're inspired. You won’t get booted for taking a break. 3. Tip Tuesday + Win Wednesday (Optional but Fun) ✨ Tip Tuesday – Got a skincare trick, allergy-friendly food hack, or lifestyle gem that helps you thrive? Share it. 🎉 Win Wednesday – Big or small, your wins matter. Let’s celebrate the real stuff — from finally getting better sleep to a breakout that cleared. 4. Some Programs Are Paid or Invite-Only You might see locked modules or exclusive content. That’s because certain courses and protocols are only available to program members. If you’re curious about joining, just reach out — I’ll point you in the right direction. This is your space. Heal at your own pace, connect when it feels right, and know you’re not alone in this. xo, Dr. Kelly 💻 www.drcmolik.com | 📧 [email protected] | IG: @drkellycmolik

👋 If You’ve Just Joined Us for the Liver Reset
Over the past few days, a number of new members have joined the community to participate in the 9-Day Liver Reset, so I wanted to say a quick welcome and help you get oriented. If you're here for the reset, you’ll find the full program inside the Core Reset Protocol section. Start with: Core Liver Diet Principles Then simply move through the sections in order. Everything is laid out step-by-step, including: • what to eat and what to avoid • the liver morning routine • hydration guidance • your 9-day reset plan • meal structure and grocery list • optional supportive supplements and teas. This reset is designed to reduce inflammatory burden and support liver function in a practical, manageable way. You don’t have to do it perfectly — consistency is what matters. For those already working with me in the clinical programs, nothing changes for you. Your program spaces and support remain exactly the same. If you’re planning to start the reset, feel free to comment below and let @Julia Hunter know when you’re beginning. – Dr. Cmolik
🔥 Systemic Inflammation: Supporting the Body and Calming the Nervous System
Inflammation is not always the enemy. It is part of the body’s non natural protective response. But when the immune system remains activated for too long, inflammation can become more widespread and may contribute to fatigue, brain fog, pain, digestive symptoms, skin flares and feeling generally unwell. Supporting inflammation requires more than adding a few “healthy” foods. We need to consider the whole terrain: nourishment, digestion, stress, sleep, movement and the nervous system. Medical Medium–inspired nutrition principles may include: 🍋 Beginning the day with hydration, such as lemon water 🥬 Eating an abundance of fruits, vegetables, leafy greens and herbs 🫐 Choosing deeply coloured antioxidant-rich foods, including berries 🥔 Including nourishing sources of glucose and minerals, such as potatoes, squash, fruit and root vegetables 🥑 Temporarily reducing heavy, high-fat and highly processed meals when appropriate 💧 Supporting regular hydration and elimination 🥣 Keeping meals simple so the body is not constantly overwhelmed From a Chinese medicine perspective, inflammation is not viewed as one identical pattern in every person. It may appear alongside heat, dampness, stagnation or an underlying deficiency. This is why one person may benefit from cooling foods while another feels better with warm, gently cooked meals that support digestion. Helpful foundations can include: 🍲 Soups, stews, steamed vegetables and simple cooked meals 🌿 Fresh herbs, ginger or turmeric when appropriate for the individual 🥕 Seasonal vegetables and easily digested foods ⏰ Eating at regular times and avoiding rushed meals 🧘 Slowing down before eating and chewing thoroughly Food matters—but a body that continually feels unsafe may struggle to fully settle. Pair your nutrition with daily nervous-system rest: • Take five slow breaths with a longer, relaxed exhale • Rest without scrolling or consuming more information • Listen to calming music, hum or spend time in quiet • Practise yoga nidra, meditation or guided relaxation

Pause and Check In with yourself
Before you begin another protocol, pause and check in with yourself. ☐ Why am I doing this? ☐ Am I trying to support myself or “fix” myself quickly? ☐ Why have I chosen this particular approach? ☐ What are my values, and does this align with them? ☐ Who has influence over my choices and do I trust that influence? ☐ What past trauma still needs care? ☐ What stress or trauma am I facing right now? ☐ When did my current lifestyle habits begin, and what was happening in my life at the time? ☐ Which habits and rituals are genuinely serving me? ☐ Which ones am I ready to release? ☐ What boundaries do I need with people, work, myself, expectations or distractions to give this protocol my full commitment? Healing is not just about what you add, remove or take. It is also about understanding why you are here, creating safety within yourself and making space to follow through with intention. You don’t need to do it perfectly. But you do need to be honest with yourself. Take your time to answer these questions, write them down or share them with your support system. With health and harmony
