Program Reminders and Support update
Hi everyone, A few important reminders and program updates to help ensure appointments, herb ordering, and ongoing support continue to run as smoothly as possible. Photo Submission & Appointment Updates Please send updated photos approximately 48–24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment whenever possible to [email protected]. Jane App will automatically send out a follow-up form prior to your visit, and patients are welcome to complete that form directly. However, if the form feels confusing or difficult to navigate, you may instead email your photos and brief updates directly to [email protected]. These updates are not intended to repeat your full appointment discussion, more to provide concise highlights that help give context to your photos and current progress. Examples of helpful updates may include: Significant changes in symptoms • Major stressors or life events • Changes in sleep, digestion, skin, energy, or cycles Going off protocol or difficulty following recommendations • Any notable reactions or shifts since the last visit Submitting photos and updates ahead of time allows adequate time for everything to be reviewed, uploaded, and organized within your chart before your appointment. *Same day submissions can be difficult to accommodate during busy clinic days, so we greatly appreciate your support with this process. Herb Shipping & International Waiver Kamwo, the professional herbal pharmacy we source through, now requires all patients to complete an international shipping waiver prior to herbs being released for shipment. This is a mandatory part of their international compliance process. Please check your spam or junk folder regularly, as these emails frequently get filtered there. Kamwo may also send reminder emails if the waiver has not yet been completed. Please note that herbs cannot be shipped until the waiver is signed, which may delay processing timelines. Dr. Cmolik does her best to coordinate herb refills alongside upcoming appointments to support continuity of care, although shipping and processing variables can occasionally affect exact timing.

👋 Welcome to Modern Chinese Medicine
This is your online home for real, root-cause healing — the kind that goes deeper than symptom relief and empowers you to take charge of your skin, allergies, and immune health. Whether you're here for one of our programs or just getting your feet wet, you're in the right place. I created this space because too many people are still stuck in the cycle of suppression — steroid creams, inhalers, elimination diets — with no real understanding of what their body is trying to say. This isn’t that. This is a place for people ready to listen to their body — and do something about it. It's a community for healing, learning, and celebrating the progress (and messiness) of that journey. 💡 A few things to know… 1. Kindness + Curiosity First 2. We're all walking different paths — let’s meet each other with empathy, encouragement, and a genuine desire to learn and grow. 2. No Pressure to Perform This is not a "post or perish" space. You're welcome to participate in whatever way feels good for you — whether that’s watching quietly, asking questions, or chiming in when you're inspired. You won’t get booted for taking a break. 3. Tip Tuesday + Win Wednesday (Optional but Fun) ✨ Tip Tuesday – Got a skincare trick, allergy-friendly food hack, or lifestyle gem that helps you thrive? Share it. 🎉 Win Wednesday – Big or small, your wins matter. Let’s celebrate the real stuff — from finally getting better sleep to a breakout that cleared. 4. Some Programs Are Paid or Invite-Only You might see locked modules or exclusive content. That’s because certain courses and protocols are only available to program members. If you’re curious about joining, just reach out — I’ll point you in the right direction. This is your space. Heal at your own pace, connect when it feels right, and know you’re not alone in this. xo, Dr. Kelly 💻 www.drcmolik.com | 📧 [email protected] | IG: @drkellycmolik

👋 If You’ve Just Joined Us for the Liver Reset
Over the past few days, a number of new members have joined the community to participate in the 9-Day Liver Reset, so I wanted to say a quick welcome and help you get oriented. If you're here for the reset, you’ll find the full program inside the Core Reset Protocol section. Start with: Core Liver Diet Principles Then simply move through the sections in order. Everything is laid out step-by-step, including: • what to eat and what to avoid • the liver morning routine • hydration guidance • your 9-day reset plan • meal structure and grocery list • optional supportive supplements and teas. This reset is designed to reduce inflammatory burden and support liver function in a practical, manageable way. You don’t have to do it perfectly — consistency is what matters. For those already working with me in the clinical programs, nothing changes for you. Your program spaces and support remain exactly the same. If you’re planning to start the reset, feel free to comment below and let @Julia Hunter know when you’re beginning. – Dr. Cmolik
The Three Phases of Healing: Why Getting Started Matters
One of the most important things to understand about Dr. Cmolik’s approach is that healing happens in phases. The goal isn’t simply to quiet a symptom temporarily, but to work methodically through the patterns contributing to it. In Chinese medicine, we can think about this process in three broad phases: 1. CLEARING This is often where the deeper work begins. The focus may be on clearing patterns such as heat, dampness, stagnation or other pathogenic factors before trying to build the body up. And this phase can take time. The longer-standing or more complex the pattern, the more layers there may be to work through. Delaying getting started can simply delay getting through the phase that may require the most patience. 2. HARMONIZING As the excess begins to clear, the focus can shift toward restoring balance and supporting the systems that have been under strain. Treatment continues to evolve based on how the individual responds. 3. TONIFYING Once the appropriate clearing work has been done, the focus can increasingly move toward nourishing, strengthening and rebuilding what has become depleted, with the goal of supporting greater resilience over time. This is why Dr. Cmolik takes such a focused, methodical approach. Chinese medicine isn't about chasing each symptom as it appears or jumping from one intervention to another. Treatment is adjusted as the pattern changes and deeper layers become apparent. If you have made the investment in your healing, start the process and give it the consistency it deserves. Waiting for the “perfect time,” repeatedly starting and stopping, or looking for shortcuts can prolong the journey—especially when the clearing phase itself may take time. Many approaches are designed primarily to manage what is visible at the surface. Our intention is to look at the broader pattern and work through it layer by layer, while recognizing that every person's timeline and response will be different. Clear. Harmonize. Strengthen. The sooner the work begins, the sooner you can start moving through those phases.
