👿EVIL PEOPLE ON PURPOSE?
THEY HURT ME ON PURPOSE THEY DID THIS BECAUSE THEY DON’T LOVE ME We often infer intent to people who do nasty things to us. We convince ourselves they knew better and did evil on purpose. But, that’s a cognitive distortion called mind reading. People actually do wrong things because of misguided reasoning. It makes some kind of twisted sense to them. They listened to the wrong thoughts in their head and those twisted thoughts deafened them to higher, holier thoughts. Has that ever happened to you? Marcus Aurelius (Meditations, Book 2.1): “When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself: The people I deal with today will be meddling, ungrateful, arrogant, dishonest, jealous, and surly… They are like this because they can’t tell good from evil.” People do wrong because they are mistaken in their judgment—not because they consciously choose evil. That’s a Stoic lens. But it’s echoed—almost word for word—in Scripture. ➡️ Jesus, as He’s being crucified, says: “Father, forgive them—they don’t know what they’re doing.” (Luke 23:34) ➡️ Paul, looking back on his violent past, admits: “I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.” (1 Timothy 1:13) ➡️ Stephen, while being stoned, echoes the same mindset: “Lord, don’t hold this against them.” (Acts 7:60) Here’s the wake up call: In both Stoic thought and Christian wisdom, wrongdoing is most likely from IGNORANCE; (absence of knowledge) misguided cognition—faulty beliefs, mistaken thinking, and chasing false rewards. That doesn’t mean we excuse harm. But it does mean we can understand it—and stop wasting energy on demonizing people who are, most of the time, blinded by the darkness of their own ignorance. 💬 Your turn: Where do you need less condemnation and more cognitive awareness? Where do you need to direct less judgement and more enlightened understanding?

🤔 The Comparison Trap: What God Wants You to Remember About Your Family
It’s a common trap to L👀K at other families and THINK yours is falling short. But comparison steals joy (Proverbs 14:30) and blinds you to the blessings right in front of you. Here’s what God says when you’re tempted to compare: ✨ Your family is uniquely designed. (Ephesians 2:10) ✨ Your worth isn’t in appearances. (1 Samuel 16:7) ✨ God’s plan for your family is perfect. (Jeremiah 29:11) ✨ Trust His timing. (Ecclesiastes 3:1) ✨ Focus on gratitude. (1 Thessalonians 5:18) ✨ Love your family as they are. (1 Corinthians 13:4) ✨ You’re doing better than you think. (Galatians 6:9) ✨ Contentment brings peace. (Philippians 4:11) ✨ God’s grace is enough. (2 Corinthians 12:9) Your children are a gift (Psalm 127:3), and your family (flaws and all) is part of God’s masterpiece. Instead of comparing, cherish the divine design in your home. 🔖Tag someone who needs this reminder today inviting them to join Mindset Masterclass for more tips and support https://www.skool.com/mindset/about?ref=e7ab79c120e349e6bb1efa58396e678d

Making Up Your Mind 🤔
The Maker of the Mind Can Help You Master Your Mind If you’ve ever wrestled with runaway thoughts, sabotaging beliefs, or mental spirals you can’t seem to interrupt—you’re not alone. But you’re also not without help. Here’s a mindset shift worth holding onto: The One who designed your mind also understands how it works—and how to rewire it. Scripture isn’t just spiritual—it’s strategic. Packed into its pages are timeless insights into cognition, mindset, perception, belief, and behavioral conditioning. Long before neuroscience gave it names, scripture was offering a framework for cognitive mastery: - “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” (Romans 12:2) - “Take every thought captive…” (2 Corinthians 10:5) - “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he…” (Proverbs 23:7) That’s not just theology—that’s high-level cognitive psychology. In our Masterclass community, we explore the deeper architecture of the brain, behavior, and belief. And when we align that architecture with the wisdom of its Maker? That’s where transformation lives. This week, take a moment to ask: What thoughts have I been letting lead? And what would it look like to hand the reins back to the original Architect? Let’s master our minds—because the Master who made them left us the blueprint. Share this with someone needing mental healing ❤️‍🩹
