Hi, and welcome. Before anything else, you don't have to introduce yourself, post, or show your face here to belong. Some of the most active members in spaces like this read for months before ever saying a word. That's completely okay. If you want one small thing to try, here it is: 👇 Reply to this post with one word for how this week's been. That's it. Just one word. "Exhausted." "Numb." "Okay, actually." Whatever's true. When (and if) you're ready for more: - 🎥 Our live call usually happens every Monday at 12PM ET — no camera or talking required, just show up here. - 📖 A few resources to start with, if you want them is inside the Classroom. No pace to keep here. This will still be here whenever you're ready. Also, if you have time, I created this video where I share a little about myself and why I built this community. This is your soft landing, your orientation, and your reminder that you are in exactly the right place.

Communication with children
I know this is going to look different for everyone, but what is reasonable communication with the kids when they are with the other parent? My kids dad wants 24/7 FaceTime access when the kids are with me but strictly limits my communication when they are with him. He also bought them a cell phone he keeps away from them when they are with him but demands they carry it when with me. We have conference then court coming up so I am trying to get clear on what to ask the judge for regarding these agreements or orders if needed:.
Processing Trial and waiting
After a year long process we had a 2 day divorce trial. My ex had his mother testify about how great of a dad he is. He had his new girlfriend sitting in the room the second day. It was extremely triggering. As I wait now for the judges ruling (likely within 30 days but could be up to 60) I’m realizing how the tools for nervous system regulation helped a lot with staying calm which helped me testify in a calm and truthful way. It helped me sit calmly while listening to lies about me be told, and with the anxiety of loss of control trial brings. This has been a very difficult year but I’ve grown so much and so glad to be putting this all behind me.

Trial
Settlement conference made some progress with assets and financials. Still going to trial tomorrow and Tuesday for Kid stuff. A bit stressed and annoyed but I am handling it much better than I thought I would a year ago! Thanks Leslie for giving me Tools and helping me re-frame a lot of This stuff!
New and needing support!
Hey everyone. I am in the thick of it with my divorce. My kids and I are still in our house, but we have to get it read to sell. I am really struggling with the loss of our home. My kids have grown up there, and we are all terribly sad to leave. I wish we could stay until they finish high school. Has anyone been able to stay? We have meetings soon to work with a mediator, but my husband is really set on selling.
