I want to talk about the uncomfortable questions that most of us â myself included â often avoid.
Because most of the time I ask someone,
âWhatâs not working right now?â
or âWhat are you struggling with?â
the answers nearly always point out there.
â„ âItâs the algorithm.â
â„ âItâs the saturation.â
â„ âItâs just too noisy right now.â
â„ âI donât have the time.â
â„ âPeople just arenât engaging like they used to.â
And yeah, I get it. Those things are valid too to some extentâŠ
But theyâre also safe.
Because as long as we blame the outside,
we donât have to look at whatâs going on inside, right?
Here is my takeâŠ
The algorithm doesnât decide whether you start.
Time doesnât magically rearrange itself.
Noise doesnât stop you from showing up.
Most of the time, itâs not the world thatâs holding us back, itâs the bits of ourselves we havenât owned yet.
So hereâs my question for you amazing human is
What do you already know youâre avoiding?
Maybe itâs the message you keep tweaking instead of using.
Maybe itâs the consistent visibility you keep postponing.
Maybe itâs the outreach, the DMs, the follow-ups â the âunsexyâ stuff that actually moves the needle.
And before you start beating yourself up, Iâm not immune either.
If Iâm being honest?I spend too much time inside my own spaces
Itâs comfortable
Itâs familiar.
But I know I should spend more time outside, having more new, real, raw, human conversations.
Because thatâs where growth actually happens.
And itâs not an instant win
Itsâs not sexy
Itâs not going to give you a dopamine hit today.
But itâs truth.
So yeahâŠ
The algorithm will change.
The market will change.
The noise will change.
But if you donât?
Nothing changes.
So maybe the real question isnât âWhatâs not working out there?â
Maybe itâs âWhat am I not doing in here?â
Over to youâŠ
Whatâs the one uncomfortable truth youâve been avoiding, and are ready to own today?
Hands-up moment.
Letâs go there.
