I want to talk about the uncomfortable questions that most of us — myself included — often avoid.
Because most of the time I ask someone,
“What’s not working right now?”
or “What are you struggling with?”
the answers nearly always point out there.
⇥ “It’s the algorithm.”
⇥ “It’s the saturation.”
⇥ “It’s just too noisy right now.”
⇥ “I don’t have the time.”
⇥ “People just aren’t engaging like they used to.”
And yeah, I get it. Those things are valid too to some extent…
But they’re also safe.
Because as long as we blame the outside,
we don’t have to look at what’s going on inside, right?
Here is my take…
The algorithm doesn’t decide whether you start.
Time doesn’t magically rearrange itself.
Noise doesn’t stop you from showing up.
Most of the time, it’s not the world that’s holding us back, it’s the bits of ourselves we haven’t owned yet.
So here’s my question for you amazing human is
What do you already know you’re avoiding?
Maybe it’s the message you keep tweaking instead of using.
Maybe it’s the consistent visibility you keep postponing.
Maybe it’s the outreach, the DMs, the follow-ups — the “unsexy” stuff that actually moves the needle.
And before you start beating yourself up, I’m not immune either.
If I’m being honest?I spend too much time inside my own spaces
It’s comfortable
It’s familiar.
But I know I should spend more time outside, having more new, real, raw, human conversations.
Because that’s where growth actually happens.
And it’s not an instant win
Its’s not sexy
It’s not going to give you a dopamine hit today.
But it’s truth.
So yeah…
The algorithm will change.
The market will change.
The noise will change.
But if you don’t?
Nothing changes.
So maybe the real question isn’t “What’s not working out there?”
Maybe it’s “What am I not doing in here?”
Over to you…
What’s the one uncomfortable truth you’ve been avoiding, and are ready to own today?
Hands-up moment.
Let’s go there.
