TALKIN' NUMBERS… SOME MEAN NAFF ALL AND WELL SOME… A LOT

First up… ALL of this… every single bit of what I'm about to say… is coming from someone who has lived it… not someone pointing fingers eva...all experience, ups downs and testing

𝗖𝗼𝘀 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗳 𝗜'𝗺 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁… 𝗛𝗢𝗪𝗦 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗨?

Some numbers I've obsessed over and then gone "wait WDF… why am I even obsessing about this… what does it actually mean… does it actually mean ANYTHING real"

Some I've ignored that I probably should have paid way more attention to… oops 😂

And some… well… some actually mean summat REAL and THAT'S what I wanna talk about today

Cos here's the thing… and this is the bit that really matters…

It's never ever really about the NUMBER It's about what's BEHIND it It's about the INTENTION behind why u're sharing it… why u're chasing it… what it actually represents underneath

𝗔 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘂 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘄𝘁

And I know this because I had a client once who had almost A MILLION followers… A MILLION… and was making zero money… ZERO… cos the number looked incredible AF on the outside and meant absolutely naff all on the inside

📈 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆… brilliant if u're using it to track whether ya community is genuinely growing… poop if u're just refreshing it for the dopamine hit of seeing a higher number

🔥 𝗨𝗿 𝟯𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸… amazing if it represents real intentional conversations and intentional showing up… absolutely fricken pointless if u've been clicking around having empty conversations just to keep the flame alive

🔴 𝗨𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻… great for tracking ya own progression and seeing if u're actually moving… meaningless if u got there posting fluff just to rack up points

💰 𝗨𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀… powerful when u understand the waves… the churn… the retention… what's actually working and why… and I'll be honest I didn't used to track this properly and it cost me… but just dropping a big number to brag with zero context behind it… that tells nobody anything… not even u

🙋‍♀️ 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀… like counts… view counts… all of it… the number alone means nowt… the STORY behind the number is everything

Cos u can have high numbers and be running on empty

And u can have small numbers and be absolutely THRIVING

The full picture is always what's happening UNDERNEATH 🖤

🫶 Tracking ya OWN progression with intention… are u actually moving… are u growing in the RIGHT direction… is what u're doing working or are u just busy being busy… THAT is gold

🫶 Understanding ya income properly… the waves… the churn… the retention… where it's coming from and why… THAT changes everything

𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝟭𝟲% 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗪𝗛𝗢'𝗩𝗘 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗟 𝗢𝗡𝗘

THAT means 84% of the humans who walked into this space… MOVED

They didn't just come in and lurk They didn't consume and disappear into the void They didn't sit there going "yeah yeah I'll get to it"

THEY MOVED

And I've not really seen many communities with numbers this low on level one… and THAT number…

THAT one… means everything to me… not because it looks good… but because of what it REPRESENTS

It represents real humans actually doing the thing It represents people showing up even when it's hard It represents wobbling and getting back up and carrying on anyway It represents saying it AND doing it… together… every single day

THAT is the proof in the pudding

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗨𝗧

Because here's the truth that most peeps 4get…

If u've got 10 people inside and they ain't moving…

Getting 20 people in ain't gonna shift that

Getting 50 people in ain't gonna shift that

Getting a HUNDRED people in ain't gonna shift that

Because the energy of ur community is already set… and new people walk into that energy and mirror it straight back… and now u've got 100 people not moving instead of 10 😂

The fix is never more people

The fix is always what's happening INSIDE first

Get ur 10 moving… THEN grow… get ur 20 thriving… THEN grow… build from the inside out… always… and THAT is when the outside starts to take care of itself
