Thank You For Showing Up 🌿
This week was all about nervous system reset work, learning what your body's actually doing when it feels overwhelmed, and how to work with it instead of fighting against it. That's the whole point of coming back to this again and again, it's not about getting it perfect, it's about getting familiar with your own body's signals. If you're ready to go deeper than a week at a time, I AM CALM is a full 12-week self-coaching journey sitting right there in the classroom, walking you through it step by step, ready whenever you are. Thank you to everyone who showed up this week, every comment, every poll answer, every bit of it means so much. Have a fabulous weekend. 👇 Share a 🌿 if you're taking some of that calm into your weekend with you.

What Do You Do Just For You?🎨🚣‍♂️
This week's been a lot of nervous system talk, so let's just have fun with something. Tell me one thing you do purely for you, not for your kids, not for your job, not because anyone asked you to, just because you enjoy it. Mine's painting, colouring in, home decorating, anything creative really, I'll lose hours in it without even noticing. Drop yours in the comments, painting, gardening, terrible reality TV, I want to know all of it. 💃🎨What kind of hobby are you into right now?👇

The Nerve Running The Show 🌿
A couple of weeks back we talked about the six places calm actually shows up in your body. This week I want to introduce you to the nerve that's actually running a big part of that show. It's called the vagus nerve, and it's honestly wild once you get it, it's the longest nerve in your whole autonomic nervous system, running from the base of your brain, right down through your neck, your chest, your gut. Three of those six places we talked about, your heart slowing down, your breath deepening, your digestion switching back on, that's not three separate things happening, that's one nerve doing its job in all three places at once. And here's the part that matters for you this week, when things get too intense, when you're overwhelmed, when old stuff is weighing on you, the vagus nerve is what steps in and hits the chill-out button. It tells your heart to ease up and your breathing to slow down. You don't have to talk yourself into calm, your body already has a switch for it, you just need to know how to reach it. 📄🌿 I made you something to go with this one, Reach The Switch, it walks you through the exact breathing pattern that reaches that switch, plus a tracker to actually use it this week. 👇🌿 Tell me in the comments, is breathwork something you already do, or is this brand new for you? 📊Where are you with breathing practices?

Which season has your whole heart? ☀️⛄🍂🌸
Can we talk about this weather for a second. We had the most beautiful first week of spring, sunshine, warm afternoons, birds going nuts in the garden, all of it. And now, just a few days in, we've swapped straight into a rainy, windy cold front. Classic South African spring, one day it's giving beach vibes, the next it's asking you to find your winter coat again. Got me thinking about favorite seasons, and mine has always been summer, no contest. Something about the days stretching out and the sun sticking around just switches something on in me, I've got more energy and I feel properly alive instead of just getting through the day. So tell me, what's your season? The one that makes you feel most like yourself. 👇Drop a gif in the comments that captures it. ☀️⛄🍂🌸
