Hi All, anyone dabbled with dataverse to fabric integration? Any gotchas that I would need to be wary of ?

Quick question for the group: How are your data engineers positioned within the business? In our proposed model, IT is responsible for extracting and landing source data into Bronze (raw/delta) in a Fabric Lakehouse, while data engineers sit closer to the business and own Silver and Gold transformations, including semantic/analytical modelling. Keen to hear how others have structured this in practice and what’s worked (or not).

Excited to share that the Workspace Capacity Unit (CU) Consumption controls for Surge Protection have now been rolled out! With this update, admins can: - Set rejection thresholds for CU usage by individual workspaces. - Automatically block new operations once the threshold is reached. - Define block duration (e.g., 24 hours) to ensure fair usage and protect overall capacity health. This feature helps maintain stability during heavy workloads and prevents any single workspace from consuming disproportionate resources.
