Concerning Behaviour : Output Filter - Hate in Fabric
I observed a very concerning behaviour of AI model on Fabric recently. I asked it to translate values in English but for country names - Zimbabwe and Niger, it returned - <Outputfilter- hate>. How can it generate a hate word for country name translation?

Not sure, I understand that there might be some slang in case of Niger but when it comes to interpreting Zimbabwe, there's least possibility of translating it to any hate word. Is there a way we can control the output moderation filter there?

@Will Needham we can change the model plus prompts as well. written about it recently here - https://medium.com/uselessai-in/prompts-behind-ai-functions-in-microsoft-fabric-7662ac385943. though the model deployment that they have done, i think we can't change the moderation filter for them. in that case, we need to use our own model with custom security layers. i tried and it worked as well.
Using AI functions in Fabric
I have experimented with AI functions a lot recently and here are all my learnings so far on how to use these functions properly. I have written about the current best possible way to utilise AI functions in data engineering tasks along with classification and translation related tasks. Would love to know more interesting and correct ways you guys use Fabric AI functions or utilise AI in data ingestion tasks. https://uselessai.in/correct-way-to-use-ai-functions-on-your-data-microsoft-fabric-ai-functions-41788b4b4563?source=collection_home_page----1b5bd1c68ab5-----0-----------------------------------

Passed DP 700 - Exam tips
Passed with quite a comfortable score🥳 My prep: Watched Will's course, watched Aleksi's course. Did Fabric tutorials in Fabric Dojo and studied with certiace.com - this is also from Aleksi. Both courses are great, but I felt during the exam that the things I had done in my job already and those I learned in Will's tutorials are the ones that stuck the best! Big thanks there and I'm definitely coming back to the Dojo once I have time. Also this is time you get back twice, you learn it for work and you get it back for free within the exam. Used the study notes from the Dojo to do last minute revision and just generally tried to read documentation when I did not answer a question right the first time. Exam: Went through case study in 25 minutes, and then went really fast through the answers so that I had 40 minutes to check everything that was in review. Found most things in MSLearn - spend a bit of time in understanding how to navigate it if you want to maximize your chances, some answers are literally right there as examples.

I'm Hiring: Community Manager (UPDATE: closed for new applicants)
UPDATE: Closed for new applications, as per timeline shared in Pinned post. Thanks to those that applied. Will update you all soon. TLDR: I'm hiring a Community Manager for this Learn Microsoft Fabric community, here on Skool. Read more, and Apply on Upwork here: https://www.upwork.com/jobs/~021952446450209029081 In the last 12 months, we've grown both this community and the Fabric Dojo community considerably - and it's become difficult to manage both communities on my own, and develop them both to reach their full potential. So, I'm hiring a Community Manager to help manage this community. Key Responsibilities: - Manage daily community engagement by following and scheduling regular posts (weekly challenges, wins, content sharing, and support threads). - Welcome new members, review pending membership applications, and maintain a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. - Organize and post monthly updates: leaderboard winners, Dojo updates, shoutouts, and thread summaries. - Identify blockers, celebrate member successes, and highlight valuable resources. - Collaborate with the community owner to evolve posting templates, engagement strategies, and guidelines. - Identify and engage with members who would be a good fit for our paid community (you will receive a commission for any members you sign up to our paid community). Great if you have the following traits/ experience: - Native or Fluent English - Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English, organization, and moderation skills. - Self-motivated, reliable, and able to suggest improvements for engagement and member satisfaction. - Comfortable with light admin work and basic post formatting. - Ideally: experience managing online communities (ideally for tech or learning platforms). - Ideally: hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric - Ideally: passionate about learning, and helping others Some more details about the role:

Would love to do that Will. I am already doing something similar at UselessAI.in where I keep sharing my Fabric experiences. Doing it for the Fabric community with you would be a pleasure. Sent you a mail. Please check. Been a community guy since 2022 and learning and exploring stuff related to data and AI.
