I want to recommend this conversation with Michael Pollan on his new book "Consciousness"—not simply because he came up with the idea for it when he was on mushrooms in his garden researching "How to Change Your Mind," and he found his plants gazing at him—benevolently, he was a good gardener—but because one of the reasons I love this work and medicine is I want to expand the boundaries of my own mind. In this particular moment, people are feeling a lot of anxiety around AI, feeling replaceable. But an argument or antidote is beginning to take shape, which he articulates when he talks about feelings and which we experience with this medicine as something greater and more profound than what can be contained in our physical selves. I think there's a paradigm shift happening, and we are all part of it. https://open.spotify.com/episode/2ADyySBkHSh5zyB7m8Wfpo?si=nFw571T8SyKsLnTldemF-A
