A drill for swimmers with anxieties and phobias
Happy Monday, everyone. I want to share something that (alongside a few other drills and exercises) helped me tremendously to overcome my swim anxieties. Sink-downs. These are overwhelming for most people, especially beginner swimmers, so please don't do these immediately if you have have extreme anxieties. The way to approach these, you need a deep pool. Go to the shallower side. Practice on a spot where your head can actually be above the pool (if you are over whelmed)..then, every time you go to the pool inch your way deeper.
