✅ Scott and I started our daily standup with wins this week - and it shifted everything. For a few weeks we were following the "get right to work" format. There's something about beginning with what's working that changes the energy of everything that follows. It's not toxic positivity - it's strategic neuroscience. 🙋🏻♂️ My Win: Invited an investing partner (executive coach, big player in startup space) over for dinner - and he said yes. In the past, I would have shrunk, avoided, then beat myself up and maybe tried again with needy energy. None of that was present. He gave me solid pointers, appreciated me on many levels, and invited me to his place.
