Clearing physical space to make mental space
I’ve always been creative and hands on. My garage has been my sanctuary. Whether it’s working on bicycles, tinkering or maintaining vehicles or projects with my welding skills. I like to bring creativity and art into my practical projects around the house. The physical space for this work has been cluttered and neglected with the addition of two children. A few months ago I finally got some gas for my welder so I could make a new gate. I brought the kids out that weekend. We changed the oil in the cars. We cut steel with a band saw. We made a frame for the gate. We fucking melted steel together! They were in awe! It made me realize I needed to clear this physical space to allow my children into this creative world and get myself back into it. There’s something about the focus that comes with these tasks or projects that gets me into a zone I can’t seem to find elsewhere. Long story longer the space has again become cluttered in the months since the gate project. It often feels overwhelming when I look at it and I allow myself to further neglect it. So this afternoon and tonight I took in the clutter one piece at a time with the same focus and energy I put into my creative tasks. I didn’t get it completed, but it looks a hell of a lot bet and I feel a hell of a lot better. And I have space to change the oil in the “race car” as our kids call it and maybe even get into a little art project with some wine barrel hoops I’ve been hoarding for years this weekend. I guess what I am trying to say is I won today! Small steps lead to big changes. Take that small step to your next big win brothers!

Reality Check: Women as a way to presence + love.
Walking and having a coffee with my lady and she gives feedback. "I want to walk away from you when I share something deeply with you and I see you looking at other things and going right to another topic. . " I was distracted. Our dates lately have been filled with her process. And sometimes I want to be acknowledged and celebrated - and I also want more heartedness and play. She's reminding me that the way to receiving what I want is to GIVE IT. FULLY. She's a therapist for women who employs some similar methods as I do. She works. A lot. She also trusts me more than 99.999% of the people in her life with her process. Her challenges joys and insights about herself. Just wanted to share this moment with you guys as a reminder: Whenever the feminine is giving feedback - reflecting on how she is experiencing us we can take it personally (lower self) OR Remember that each time she does this is an opportunity to become radically present, loving (higher Self + Light of the Creator) AND no matter what her words are or her experience is what she is REALLY asking of her man is: "Can I trust you?" To lead. To stay connected. To protect her. And to provide her with penetrating presence she will always long for moment to moment. Have a great Sunday guys.

🥳 FRIDAY - BROTHERHOOD WINS
✅ Scott and I started our daily standup with wins this week - and it shifted everything. For a few weeks we were following the "get right to work" format. There's something about beginning with what's working that changes the energy of everything that follows. Feeling alligned
This new in person personal training i have been doing has been teaching me a lot about myself and what it means to be aligned and serving your purpose. I've spent so much time, effort, and energy on trying to "help" people who never wanted to be helped. It was my own selfishness and judgements that wanted better for them. Now i get to be first in line for people wanting to help them selves and better their lives. It feels really good to be a part of that and to be helping people who truly appreciate it and are in a place to receive. I take it to another level with the mindset stuff while we're working out. As much as i don't like punching the clock so speak, im really enjoying this and it feels like im truly on the right path and serving my purpose, helping people help them selves, and truly aligned on the path I should be on.
