Powerful message…
and tbh something I’m working through right now. It can be weed, alcohol, sex, streaming, scrolling, eating. Where one distraction gets put in line, another surfaces.
I often times feel like I’m at the center of a maze, a maze of thoughts emotions, swirling around memories of the past and hopes for the future. And without distractions and reward structures, I’m looking around and saying ‘Well fuck me. I really am at the center of a maze.’ And it took years of getting here. But perhaps the beginning of finding the way out is realizing that’s where I am. To not look away.
