👋 Welcome to Melissa AF Harmon Creative — Start Here
Glad you're here. Let's make sure you actually get something out of it. This community is built for entrepreneurs and solopreneurs who are done dabbling with AI and ready to build systems that work. Everything inside has a purpose. Here's your path. Step 1️⃣ → The Practical Prompting Lab Start here. No skipping. This 15-module course is your foundation — from how AI actually interprets input to building prompts that produce reliable, repeatable output. This is where guesswork ends. Step 2️⃣ → The Prompt Library Ready-to-use prompt packs for content, marketing, strategy, and decision-making. Don't just copy them — adapt them to your voice and watch your workflow change. Step 3️⃣ → Mini-Courses & Community Resources Targeted skills, guides, and templates added regularly. Check back often — this section grows with the community. Step 4️⃣ → Show Up Join a Co-Working Hour. Ask a question. Share what you're building or where you're stuck. The people in this community are your biggest asset — use them. ⚠️ One rule: Don't skip the foundation because you think you already know this. Most AI frustration isn't a tool problem. It's a structure problem. Start at Step 1. Before you dive in — drop a comment and introduce yourself: 👋 Name: 💼 What you do: 🤖 The AI task you most want to solve: I read every single one. Let's build something. 💡 — Melissa

The Pro plan has made my life so much easier. The consistency I receive from this tool, the adherence to my brand guides and voice, the ability to take the workflow we just completed and turn it into a skill so I can repeat that task later just by calling on it. My favorite tool: Cowork. This alone is worth the $20/mo fee in my opinion. I run the Claude desktop app, I go into my projects and I execute. Well, Claude executes, but I approve the workflows and help refine the visions. The files are dropped back into the designated folders on my computer once complete. Need to make a revision? No problem. The file is updated. ChatGPT has been used once in the last week. Gemini gets used daily for my W2, but for my business I'm finding myself going there natively less and less often. Perplexity still comes in clutch for research to feed in for projects, however that is what Perplexity is built to do. It's the Chrome killer. It truly is.

Three Entrepreneurs
Quick observation from this week: I’ve talked with several entrepreneurs lately and noticed we tend to fall into three different struggles when running a business. 🔧 The Maker who struggles to talk about their work ⏱ The Operator who never has time to market 💡 The Builder with more ideas than hours I unpack these a bit in the video below. And yes… I fully admit I’m the Builder. My idea list has categories. 😂 Which one feels most like you right now? Vote with an emoji: 🔧 Maker ⏱ Operator 💡 Builder
From Internal Draft to Global Rollout: The Power of Practical Prompting
This past week has been a whirlwind. I’ve been deep in the trenches building an AI troubleshooting training for the Product Support Engineers at my day job. Yesterday was the big moment: I presented the first full draft to senior management. I’ve been with this company for over 5 years, but this was my first time truly solo in the spotlight. I’ll be honest—my nerves were amped. I was sure I’d blow it. The Result? I nailed it. It wasn’t "perfect," but it was effective. Now, I’m spending the weekend refining the edits to present to our VP of AI next week for a global company-wide rollout. The Lesson: Don’t wait for "perfect" to hit "submit." The draft is where the magic starts. Use this weekend to level up whatever you’re working on—you never know who is watching!

April's Focus & Flow Co-Working Hour is on the calendar 🗓️
Theme: Content Batching with AI If "I need to create content" has been living on your to-do list for longer than you'd like to admit — this one's for you. On Wednesday, April 8th from 7–8pm ET, we're spending one focused hour tackling content batching with AI together. No slides, no lecture. Just a theme, a timer, and a room full of people actually doing the work. Here's how it works: you show up with something to build — a week of posts, a month of email ideas, a content calendar you've been putting off — and we work on it together in real time. I'll be in the room working alongside you, and we can troubleshoot, share prompts, and swap wins as we go. Content Batching with AI is one of the highest-leverage workflows you can build. One focused session can generate weeks of material. We're going to prove it in an hour. 👉 Add it to your calendar here: Focus & Flow — April 8th Drop a 🙋 in the comments if you're coming — and if you've got a specific content challenge you want to tackle during the session, share it below. I'll make sure we hit it. — Melissa
