A new bill, the Home Health Stabilization Act of 2025, has been introduced to block planned rate cuts to Medicareโ€™s home health services. If the reductions go through, many older adults could lose essential in-home care, forcing some into higher-cost options like nursing homes or hospitals.
This bill is designed to keep seniors supported at home, where they often feel most comfortable and independent.
