Vision and gut issues/ post cancer challenges
A friend of mine was sharing her health struggles with me. She sent the following message which she had agreed for me to share here. I understood that you may need more info, but could you point us in the right direction. I know she has cataract and was told she has about three ish years of vision left. She also has reflux. She had cancer in the past and currently cancer free However, since treatment she also has fibromyalgia and high blood pressure. Any guidance on direction would be greatly appreciated
‘IBS kept me up all night. I haven’t been able to sleep. I’ve just been drinking water, and then I had a sugar surge. Of course, I took two paracetamol because it hurts for me to move. Since chemotherapy and radiotherapy, my gums are tender, and I’ve had quite a few teeth just crumbling on me. On top of that, I have a headache.
I have keloids where they cut me to remove my hernia. I adjust my arm to be comfortable since they removed all my lymph nodes in my right arm. My vision is bad due to a vegan diet for over 10 years without taking supplements.
Through scans, they found that I retain urine, so I’ve been told I’ll need to be catheterised — to wear a bag to empty my bladder — because it’s dangerous to walk around with so much urine in my system.”
