Fluoroquinolone Toxicity Injuries
A friend was prescribed Levaquin in February 2026 as a result of sepsis. After 4 days of taking Levaquin, she experienced stiff ankles, elbows and shoulders. Her doctor took her off it @ Day 7 and prescribed her different antibiotics (which she finished taking in February). She took amoxicillin in May to fight off strep throat. It’s 3 months from her last dose and she is still feeling lots of joint pain/stiffness, anxiety/depression. She can’t lift weights more than once per week because of sore joints / back that persists for several days.
Her current dietary protocol is animal based (plus one cup of organic coffee purchased from local producer in Tucson, AZ. ) She consumes her coffee at 6:00am with her 2 eggs and yogurt. Mostly red meat, yogurt (L. Reuteri that she makes with organic half and half), bone broth and some fruit (organic blueberries or apple). Fruit isn’t consumed daily, but at times when she feels nausea from the consumption of the high amount of fat. She rarely had nausea in the past since becoming carnivore in January 2024. She also consumes organic local honey and some organic maple syrup. She still has her gallbladder.
Supplements she is taking to help her with the toxicity from Levaquin include:
Magnesium, NAC, NAD, Bpc 157, liposomal vitamin c, vitamin D.
She also uses the sauna, red light therapy and spends lots of time outside walking.
Is it possible to reverse her fluoroquinolone injuries so she can eventually return to her daily lifting / workout regime? She is not currently a member of SKOOL, but I was thinking that the seriousness of her toxicity might justify a 1-on-1 consultation with you where she can share all of her lab work results. Kindly advise what you believe is most appropriate for this situation.
