Revealing it all (tomorrow)
Hey everyone, I have an exciting update to share. We're in the final stages of preparing our newest program. It's called "The Art of Mixing"... And it's going to be our most comprehensive mixing program to date. If you're not ready to do The Reverse Engineer yet (our flagship program) but you want to learn how to craft professional mixes that hit as hard emotionally as they do sonically... We're going live TOMORROW, Friday Feb 13th at 8am Pacific / 11am Eastern / 4pm UK Time to reveal all the details. Register here: https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_Jhww6kR9QESFCEJ0bsM0GQ Can't wait, Rob

Sad News: This is Berlins last week as a mentor for us :(
Everyone knows that Berlin is an amazing mentor with a HUGE heart. She's a beacon of light for everyone who comes in contact with her. Losing her is no small thing and she will be SO missed! This will be her last week doing calls in our paid monthly membership program. :( However, we always want to support all our amazing mentors who get new opportunities! So, please join in with me in wishing Berlin good luck with the next phase! Let's celebrate her. Also, feel free to sign this "Farewell Card" for Berlin: https://www.kudoboard.com/boards/tJ72Lmi6 I personally want to thank @Berlin RedluX for her passion and care for all the students! She's been a great mentor and I'll miss her being around! I know she's going to be very successful at wherever the wind blows and ill be rooting for her! (**But as far as your education goes, don't worry, I'll announce an exciting new mentor for you next week for those of you in the membership program)
Production: Xpand!2, MIDI, and half-time
Production question: A tune I'm working on is set at 186 bpm, and all of the drum loops I've auditioned are too busy. Option A: Boom and ADSR allow you to reset the speed of the loop ( X1/2, X2, etc.) before inserting/recording. Does Xpand!2 have a setting for this? Option B is to set the metronome to 93 (probably should have been set here in the first place), but that slows all other MIDI tracks. Originally, it was going to have a driving beat with kicks at 186 but I want to give more space to the groove. I think the 93bpm is more appropriate. Is there a way to change a MIDI track to keep it's speed if you halve the bpm? Hope my questions make sense!
