Sad News: This is Berlins last week as a mentor for us :(
Everyone knows that Berlin is an amazing mentor with a HUGE heart. She's a beacon of light for everyone who comes in contact with her. Losing her is no small thing and she will be SO missed! This will be her last week doing calls in our paid monthly membership program. :( However, we always want to support all our amazing mentors who get new opportunities! So, please join in with me in wishing Berlin good luck with the next phase! Let's celebrate her. Also, feel free to sign this "Farewell Card" for Berlin: https://www.kudoboard.com/boards/tJ72Lmi6 I personally want to thank @Berlin RedluX for her passion and care for all the students! She's been a great mentor and I'll miss her being around! I know she's going to be very successful at wherever the wind blows and ill be rooting for her! (**But as far as your education goes, don't worry, I'll announce an exciting new mentor for you next week for those of you in the membership program)

SPL metering inside the box????
I have a question regarding @Rob Mayzes's email about monitoring at low volume. "Set your baseline: Use an SPL meter app on your phone to calibrate your listening position. Aim for 55dB to 65dB (conversation level). It will feel uncomfortably quiet at first, and that’s okay." I can't seem to find the way to transfer this idea in the box. SPL metering is usually using a hand held device. Is there a way to transfer this idea inside the box via a monitoring plugin in?? or should I be holding the phone application up to my headphones?? I try to mostly stay at the same conversational volume level unless I need to hear something very subdued or to test the loudness. Any help or input in this regard is greatly appreciated. Keep Making Amazing Music Thank You

@Mark Stone sounds about right. I'm anywhere from 68-75 dB.

Native Instruments is in preliminary insolvency
You've probably heard about this by now. I thought about it, how does this affect me? Didn't realize Native Instruments recently acquired: iZtope, Plugin Alliance and Brainworx. https://musictech.com/news/industry/native-instruments-preliminary-insolvency/ Let's talk about it.

@Gus Dikteruk pretty sure Native Instruments has a partnership with Plugin Boutique not acquisition/ownership. The own Plugin Alliance.

@Marcello Lioy yup. Too often, this is the case, especially within smaller industries.
