GenAI in Music
Generative AI, not to be confused with Assistive AI.

Zeitgeist (Now),
“GenAI creates a product by harvesting and plagiarizing all related data available. When It creates music, this will include all i.e. (ever created) songs and musical scores along with their artistic intent.”
If ever my daughter catches me using GenAI search engines, she will say “Don’t feed the beast. Don’t help it, don’t lean on it, because these companies rely on you to perfect it, but they don’t care about You.”
It’s not that tools are the problem, it’s what those who build the tools plan to use them for, and what it costs them to get where they are.
