Gain staging question
Now that I finally figured out how to adjust the input gain on individual tracks I have a question. In the "Setting up a mix" he says to gain stage the individual tracks to between -20 and -10dB. Does that mean I should shoot for a peak of around -15dB or try to get the loudest parts as close as I can to -10dB as possible without going over?
