Breaking: Sora 2 has officially launched.

This is OpenAI’s most advanced video generation model to date, delivering vivid, expressive, and physically accurate creations that were previously out of reach for earlier systems. A major leap forward in realism, controllability, and — for the first time — synchronized audio.

Access is available through the Sora iOS app, which can be downloaded now. However, entry remains invite-only, with users able to sign up in-app for push notifications when access is granted.

The initial rollout begins today across the U.S. and Canada, with plans to expand internationally as quickly as possible. Priority access is being given to ChatGPT Pro subscribers, though no specific timeline has been announced for broader availability.
