GPT 5.6 won't be available to everyone right away. The government wants OpenAI to share it only with select partners first, and approve access one customer at a time. The interesting part? Anthropic has been doing this voluntarily with Claude Mythos since earlier this year. Now the government is asking OpenAI to do the same thing. The reason is simple, these models are powerful enough to find and exploit software vulnerabilities faster than any human. That's a real risk if it gets into the wrong hands. First it was Claude Mythos. Now it's GPT 5.6. Are the most powerful AI models slowly moving out of reach for everyday businesses? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Has anyone noticed usage limits behaving differently after reset when using Claude for heavy workflows? I mainly use it for CSV → document generation in sales/business development tasks, and sometimes the limit gets reached very quickly even after a reset window. Is this due to rolling usage windows or higher quota usage for file-heavy tasks?

OpenAI and Anthropic are both preparing for IPOs, and pre IPO equity is a rare payday even for well paid Big Tech employees. Shazeer's exit came shortly after Google reassigned computing resources from his project to another team. When top researchers can't get GPU access for their own work... they leave. The real question is : does this signal a shift in where the most ambitious AI work is happening?
