The Goal Is Bigger Than the Scale
What stood out to me in Marilyn’s story is that the turning point wasn’t a number on a scale — it was a moment with her child. That’s what makes fitness journeys powerful. The real motivation is often deeper than weight loss: having energy, feeling strong, being present for family, and showing up fully in life. Losing 60lbs through consistency and healthy habits is incredible, but the mindset behind it is what inspires me most. Sustainable change comes from daily decisions, not extreme shortcuts. I’m new here, and I’m excited to learn from everyone’s experiences. One thing I’m curious about: What’s been the biggest mindset shift that helped you stay consistent with your health or fitness goals?
Help me help you!

What even is a macro? 🤷‍♀️
Macros (Macronutrients) are what fuel our bodies for our basic needs, down to the cellar level! Protein, Carbohydrates and Fat. Macros are different for everyone! Odds are, you will never find someone else with the exact same macros needs as you! Comment any questions you have regarding your macros! Have you ever heard about them? Protein: How we build muscle and maintain muscle and it plays an important part in hormone fluctuations, creating enzymes, and immune system antibodies! Carbohydrates: The energy we burn throughout the day. Carbs are the instant energy source for our body. They also aid in digestion (fiber), support heart health, and allow energy to be stored in muscle, and our liver. Whether we're working out or just living, we NEED carbs! Fat: Our secondary, long term, energy source! Once we run through our carbs, we start to burn Fat for energy! It also allows the body to absorb vitamins, insulate organs, and produce hormones! All that to say, a balanced diet is ideal, even in a calorie deficit!
