Good morning, Still Rising family!
Here is a little wisdom for your Wednesday.
You can love someone deeply and still need a break.
You can be strong and still feel tired.
You can have faith and still have days when you don’t know what to do next.
And you can be a caregiver, a spouse, a parent, or the person everyone depends on and still need someone to care for you.
Please remember this: You are a person, too.
You don’t have to earn rest by reaching the point of exhaustion.
You don’t have to feel guilty for laughing, taking a walk, enjoying a cup of coffee, or doing something just for yourself.
God never asked you to carry every burden alone.
Sometimes wisdom means doing less, asking for help, and trusting God with what you cannot control.
Today, take a breath.
Give yourself the same kindness you give everyone else.
You are still growing. You are still worthy. And you are still rising.
Let’s talk: What is one thing you need to give yourself permission to do today?
Share it in the comments. You never know who needs to hear your words.
With love,
Ma Laurie
