🌿 Wednesday Wisdom: Give Yourself Grace 🌿
Good morning, Still Rising family! Here is a little wisdom for your Wednesday. You can love someone deeply and still need a break. You can be strong and still feel tired. You can have faith and still have days when you don’t know what to do next. And you can be a caregiver, a spouse, a parent, or the person everyone depends on and still need someone to care for you. Please remember this: You are a person, too. You don’t have to earn rest by reaching the point of exhaustion. You don’t have to feel guilty for laughing, taking a walk, enjoying a cup of coffee, or doing something just for yourself. God never asked you to carry every burden alone. Sometimes wisdom means doing less, asking for help, and trusting God with what you cannot control. Today, take a breath. Give yourself the same kindness you give everyone else. You are still growing. You are still worthy. And you are still rising. Let’s talk: What is one thing you need to give yourself permission to do today? Share it in the comments. You never know who needs to hear your words. With love, Ma Laurie Still Rising — Honoring Every Life. At Every Stage.
@Laurie Mishmash Ahi Ma. yes, be aware of your surroundings, also always remember you are an amazing person that God looks out for.

Create a 3D Disney-Pixar style illustration in a vertical 9:16 aspect ratio, designed as a single, seamless, continuous composition. The entire background is one unified, unbroken, plain light-beige plaster wall with no vertical panels, split-screens, border lines, or column divisions separating the scene. Positioned on the left: A stylized 3D character of a [gender/age, e.g., young man / young woman] with same face, hair, body properties, and skin tone from photo. Pose: The subject is leaning back naturally against the plain light-beige wall with arms crossed over chest, smiling warmly at the camera. One leg is bent at the knee with foot resting backward flat against the wall behind, showing a relaxed, realistic posture. Outfit: The subject is wearing same outfit from photo. A small potted green monstera plant sits on the floor in the bottom left corner. Positioned directly on the same continuous wall surface, to the right of the character: The name "[your name]" is spelled out vertically in large, solid, geometric 3D sign letters with flat front faces, clean side-extrusions, and sharp, hard edges (looking like solid acrylic or plastic blocks, not soft or lumpy clay). Each letter has a different clean pastel color (such as pink, purple, teal, salmon, and yellow). To the right of each 3D letter on the wall, there is a neatly aligned horizontal layout containing: 1. A word representing a positive trait in English, written in a smooth, elegant, medium-stroke cursive brush calligraphy style. The color of each cursive word must match the color of its corresponding 3D block letter (e.g., pink cursive next to the pink letter, teal cursive next to the teal letter). 2. Right next to the cursive word, a simple, cute, hand-drawn sketchy doodle icon (such as a sketchy pink heart, a sketchy purple sparkle, or a sketchy teal lightbulb) colored to match the color theme of that letter. 3. Neatly printed directly underneath the cursive trait, a short 1-sentence description in English in a clean, lightweight, dark gray sans-serif print font.

I love this!
Three day reflection helping my friend care for her father.
Sitting and resting and admiring the man who she calls daddy. Because he chose to be her daddy o. He saw she needed a father and by damn he became that. She does not really even truly know who her father is. But she could care less because the man who took her and her older siblings in is her daddy O. He is so fricken cute. This time I met the man before the dementia.
