🌙 Two Days Journal
🌸 Day One
⏰ Sleep Log
Slept at 5:30 AM after praying Fajar and doing recitation with translation.
Woke up at 1:00 PM.
🌿 Day Reflection
Tomorrow my sleep schedule was disturbed, but I still tried to stay productive and learn new things.
After waking up, I had lunch, made my Upwork profile, and searched ideas for Instagram posts. Then I slept again.
Later I woke up at 3 PM, prayed Zuhr, read Surah Kahaf and did zikr. After that, I prayed Asr and did some house chores.
After Maghrib prayer, I read Surah Waqiah and Surah Mulk and then sat down to do outreach.
💥Honestly, I was very excited because I thought outreach would feel fun since I was learning something new. But it went completely the other way.
🥺I spent almost 2 hours on Upwork trying to find client details and only managed to get one. It drained my energy so much and made me feel really disheartened. I started questioning myself:
“Am I doing it wrong?”
“Or is it actually this hard?”
Then I asked ChatGPT and realized that finding clients through Upwork research is actually difficult, especially in the beginning. It’s better to start with cold DMs on Instagram and LinkedIn instead.
That gave me some relief.
Then I made dua, did some scrolling, and went to sleep.
✨ What I Learned Today
Learning new things is exciting, but not every method works for beginners.
Outreach is not impossible; I just need a smarter strategy.
Sometimes clarity itself feels like relief.
🌸 Day Two
⏰ Sleep Log
Slept at 5:00 AM and woke up at 11:00 AM.
Total sleep: 6 hours.
📅 Today’s Activities
🌿 Morning
11:20 – 12:00 → Searched Instagram post ideas.
Then spent 1 hour doing comments in the Skool community.
After that, I again tried outreach for one hour but still got details of only one client.
🥗 Afternoon
Had a meal and offered Zuhr prayer.
Then I slept again for 2 hours.
Honestly, I don’t know why I’ve been sleeping so much these days.
🌙 Evening
Woke up and offered Asr prayer.
Did some work, and after Maghrib prayer, I went to the kitchen and cooked dinner with mama 🤍
Then did some scrolling and spent 30 minutes interacting on LinkedIn.
✨ Thoughts & Feelings
These two days felt emotionally heavy but also full of learning.
I realized:
Not every hard thing means I’m failing.
Some methods are simply inefficient.
I need to protect my energy while learning new skills.
Even though productivity felt low, I still:
✔ Learned
✔ Tried outreach
✔ Worked on my profile
✔ Stayed connected with my deen
✔ Helped at home
And that still counts.
