Daily Journal| Day 6
Date: 2 July 2026
Day: Thursday
✨One thing I want to remember about today:
Alhamdulillah, my fever and sore throat are completely gone! Even though I am still dealing with the last stage of flu, cough, sneezing, and some weakness, I was able to rest and successfully hit both of my core goals today. I am so grateful to Allah for restoring my health, and I am ready to jump back into more work and focus heavily on my goals starting tomorrow! Shukr Alhamdulillah.
✨What time did I sleep last night and when did I wake up?
Slept last night: 11:00 PM
Woke up: 4:45 AM (napped from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM)
✨Reminders:
No one can waste my time except me.
Small wins: win the seconds, win the hours. Don't overwhelm; use the 2-minute rule.
The way you do anything is the way you do everything.
Conduct weekly/monthly reflections.
Don't multitask; focus on one big thing each day.
Manifest the work you are about to do, using a diary.
✨Day Start Section
Most Important 1-3 Tasks:
[Task 1]: Create, do the voiceover for, and upload a video to my YouTube channel.
[Task 2]: Complete the final Upwork video/session with my siblings to prepare for profile optimization.
✨What I don’t want to do today:
Overexert myself too early and prolong the weakness, but also don't let the final days of the flu completely stop my daily consistency.
Diet + Gym + Boxing:
Breakfast: 1 roti with keema and 1 glass of lassi (at 8:40 AM).
Lunch: Rested through lunch due to fatigue.
Dinner: Curry with 1 roti (at 8:20 PM), followed by half a glass of mango milkshake later.
Gym: Full rest day to heal from coughing and sneezing.
Practice: Adapting to technical difficulties (slow internet) by switching from video-watching to a productive team strategy session.
Speaking: Conducting a detailed team discussion with my siblings regarding our upcoming Upwork profile setups and doing my YouTube video voiceover.
✨Day Close Section
✨Wins of the Day:
Alhamdulillah, completed both of my planned tasks for the day!✅
Successfully created, voiced over, and uploaded my daily YouTube video starting at 4:00 PM.✅
When the Mavi app/internet acted up at 6:00 PM, my siblings and I didn't waste time—we shifted to a 30-minute group discussion about our profile strategy and optimization plans.✅
Managed a couple of small household chores in the evening as my energy started returning.
Mistakes / Learnings:✅
Learning: Slow internet or app issues don't have to ruin a task. Since today was supposed to be our last video before starting profile optimization, shifting to a direct strategy discussion with my team was the perfect workaround to keep us moving toward our freelancing goals!
Prayer Times:
Fajr: Prayed at 4:50 AM right after waking up.
Zohar/Jumma: Prayed at 2:00 PM after a long afternoon rest.
Asr: Prayed at 5:45 PM right after wrapping up my YouTube video creation.
Maghrib: Prayed at 7:30 PM before heading to dinner.
Isha: Prayed at 10:00 PM after doing a few household tasks, right before sleeping at 10:35 PM.
