What's your favorite animal?
Animals are one of the most common symbol-systems I work with. They can convey so much information. Think about the characteristics of different animals. Are they known to be pack animals or solitary creatures? Are they highly intelligent? Do they fly or swim -- or both?
Animals can pop up in so many ways as well. You can see them "in the wild" or on your TV. You can use animal symbolism as a form of divination, too!
