DAY #1: RAISE YOUR STANDARDS
Ladies⦠today is not about weight loss.
Itās about what youāve been tolerating.
There is a massive difference between wanting better and demanding better. We can say all the time, I want to lose weight, or I want to feel better, or I want more energy. There's a HUGE difference between saying it all the time and actually meaning it and following through.
Most women set goals. Very few raise their standards.
A goal says: āIād love to lose 20 pounds.ā
A standard says: āI no longer tolerate living in a body that feels inflamed, exhausted, and uncomfortable.ā
A goal is something you try to reach. A standard is something you refuse to drop below.
And hereās the truth:
You donāt get what you want. You get what you tolerate.
Somewhere along the way, many of us normalized:
⢠Waking up tired
⢠Aching joints
⢠Brain fog
⢠Belly fat that āmust just be hormonesā
⢠Skipping strength training because weāre overwhelmed
⢠Living in survival mode
And after 40, society almost encourages it:
āItās just aging.ā
āItās perimenopause.ā
āItās menopause.ā
āItās your metabolism.ā
Yes, hormones change and things are changing during this time in our bodies, but you can take action and become the one in control.
But tolerating feeling powerless? Thatās a decision.
And today we interrupt it.
Ask yourself honestly:
What have I been tolerating in my health that Iām no longer available for?
Is it:
ā Negative self-talk?
ā Skipping protein?
ā Emotional eating at night?
ā Not prioritizing sleep?
ā Saying āI donāt have timeā for strength training?
The moment you decide āno more,ā your brain starts looking for solutions instead of excuses.
This week is about stepping into the woman who holds herself to a higher standard, not from punishment⦠but from self-respect.
Because raising your standards isnāt about pressure.
Itās about identity.
You are not trying to fix your body, you are deciding what kind of woman you are.
