🇺🇸 English Expressions: Let Bygones Be Bygones 🕊️
Hey everyone! 👋 Today’s expression is “let bygones be bygones.” 👉 It means to forget about past arguments, mistakes, or disagreements and move on. In other words, leave the past in the past and don’t hold a grudge. Origin: “Bygone” simply means something that happened in the past. The expression has been used in English since the 17th century, with the idea that past problems should be left behind rather than brought up again. ⏳ Examples: • We had a big argument, but we decided to let bygones be bygones. 🤝 • I know we disagreed, but let bygones be bygones. • We had a rough start, but we’re friends now. Let bygones be bygones! 🙌 Quick note: 👉 “Bygone” = something from the past 👉 “Let bygones be bygones” = forget past problems and move forward Now it’s your turn! 💬 Drop your own sentence using “let bygones be bygones” below 👇 WE LEARN FROM EACH OTHER! 🤝

🔥 New Drop in Classroom: Twin Peaks (Season 1 Pilot) 🌲 ☕️
I just dropped something really special in the classroom — the Season 1 Pilot of Twin Peaks. If you’ve never seen it before, don’t worry. This is not “just a show” — it’s a whole atmosphere. Mysterious, slow-burning, a little strange… and honestly, kind of addictive once you step into it. And the soundtrack too is a huge part of it. Angelo Badalamenti’s music gives it that dreamy, eerie, emotional vibe — especially tracks like the “Twin Peaks Theme,” “Laura Palmer’s Theme,” and “ The Dance Of The Dream Man" "On the morning of February 24, 1989 in the Washington town of Twin Peaks, Pete Martell leaves his home — where he lives with his wife Catherine Martell and her sister-in-law, Josie Packard — to go fishing. However, he notices an object by the shore, and when he approaches it, he discovers that it is a dead body wrapped in plastic..." 📌 The Season 1 Pilot is now uploaded in the classroom — go ahead and watch it at your own pace. You can rewatch it too (actually… you probably will 😄). “-WHO’S THE LADY WITH THE LOG? -WE CALL HER THE LOG LADY.”
