NEW DROP!
Edward, an artificial man with scissors for hands, is left unfinished by his inventor. When a kind suburban woman takes him in, he suddenly finds himself in a pastel-colored neighborhood that doesn’t quite know what to do with him. Gentle, curious, and completely different, Edward forms a bond with Kim, the woman’s daughter—but his innocence and uniqueness soon clash with society’s expectations.
The story is emotional, a little strange (in a good way), and full of that classic Burton vibe—mixing fairy tale, romance, and quiet sadness. It’s really about being different, wanting to belong, and how people react to what they don’t understand.
It’s a great film for learning English: speech is clear, characters are expressive, and the context helps you follow even simple lines.
