If you had to invent a fake reason for being outside someone’s apartment early in the morning, what would you say?
If someone asked me why I was outside their apartment early in the morning, I'd probably say that I was on my way to a nearby market to buy groceries. In my experience, the meat and fruit are much fresher in the morning, and the prices tend to be lower as well.
Since I've taken a pay cut this year, I've become much more careful with my spending. So getting up early to buy fresh food at a better price would be a pretty believable excuse.
