Have you ever saved money for something special during the holidays? What was it?

Yes, I have. Over ten years ago, when I was a sophomore, I saved up money to buy a second-hand iPhone 4 from my sister. At that time, I had a burning desire to own a smartphone, but I couldn’t afford a brand-new one. So I took on a part-time job and really tightened my belt during the summer holiday to make it happen. When I finally got the phone, I felt incredibly proud of myself because it was something I had earned entirely on my own.
