What’s something silly or embarrassing that your friend or partner has said in public? Did it make you laugh?

About five years ago, one of my friends and I were having dinner in a nice restaurant. While we were talking about our future plans, she said she should get married because she was at the right age, as if a person is supposed to do certain things at certain stages of life. I couldn’t help laughing and said, ‘Then you should die when you reach your life expectancy, right?’ It was so silly to think that you have to follow a path designed by someone else. She fell into deep thought after hearing my words and admitted that she had never considered living life on her own terms. In the end, I encouraged her to reflect on what she truly wants in life and to pursue it.
