Mommy's Orchid
Got this orchid for my mother on mother's day 2 years before she passed away. She cared for it those years and now this is my 3rd summer with it. I haven't repotted it or fertilized it in any way over its 5 years. I give each plant(theyre in separate little pots) 3 small ice cubes every 4-5 days. It blooms for about 7 months from start to finish. I feel like it prolly needs a new pot and fresh soil but I've never fooled with orchids and it has done so well I dont wanna screw it up. Does anyone have experience raising orchids and can help?

My mommas beautiful flowers.
My momma sure did love her daylillies. While they do make me miss her they also make me feel like part of her is still here. The orange ones were my great grandmother's and we've been raising these for over 100 years in my family. Whenever someone has moved they've always went with us. They're a different breed than the standard orange daylily that grows wild everywhere. They have a rare double bloom. If you can't tell I was and still am a mommas boy 😁 She's gone but never forgotten 🤎🤎🤎

Harvesting Castings?
I'm about to pot some herbs and would LOVE to use some of my castings. But how do I harvest it? I'm currently sifting bit by bit by hand and there has to be a more efficient method! 😩

Mommy's flowers
My mother loved daylilys and Lillys. The 1st of the daylilys and lillys she used to raise have started to bloom. Makes me miss her a bunch but it also makes me so grateful for the gift of gardening she taught me. 🤎🤎🤎
