Twisting and Moving.
Recently, I have been making sure that squating is an important part of my routine.
I don't lift heavy back squats much.
Sometimes I will use my son as the weight. (60lbs)
However, most of the time when we are squating our spine is locked in and this creates a situation that, if you are not twisting and moving, you may risk injury.
Many people who only lift weights move in a very rigid, not fluid way.
This is not how I want to move.
I want to be able to move fluidly for a lifetime.
This is a big reason why I will do twisting motions regularly.
Las night when I couldn't sleep, I did some stretching and twisting that made me feel like I could relax enough to get back to sleep.
I hope you are having a great day.
What type of twisting do you do?
