Welcome to the Leftbehindmind Community🧩
👋 Welcome to LeftBehindMind. You’re in the right place. I’m Terrell, your coach. I created this community because I know firsthand how overwhelming anxiety can feel. A quick backstory: I grew up with anxiety mostly social anxiety and after losing a loved one in 2019, I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. My anxiety became intense and turned into health anxiety. In 2021 alone, I went to the doctor or ER 25 plus times. When I wasn’t inside, I was in the parking lot trying to talk myself out of going in. Nothing seemed to help. Eventually I realized something important. No one else could break this cycle for me. I had to educate myself, rewire my mind, and rebuild my nervous system. That journey is what led me to helping others. 🌱 Why this community exists Anxiety makes you feel like an outlier like nobody else is experiencing what you are experiencing. But you’re not alone. This group exists so we can: • Share our experiences • Track our progress • Celebrate wins and learn from setbacks • Learn the tools that helped me break free ✨ You belong here. Let’s heal together.

Little background
I just need some advice or something. I’ve had history of anxiety in the past. May 28th I was involved in a car accident where I was sandwiched between 2 cars on the highway. After that experience I think I’d have a couple panic attacks, it felt like my heart was beating out of my chest, convinced I was going to pass out or something, feeling hot, symptoms like that, didn’t matter where, I remember specially having one at the car dealership and at a restaurant. June 11th, I went to the er alone for a head ache, I’m pretty sure I had a panic attack in the waiting room, felt my stomach drop, heart started racing and feeling like it was beating out of my chest, and I broke down crying. There they gave me a migraine cocktail, when they pushed the Compazine immediately my heart rate shot up I had a very strong sense of impending doom and I felt like I was going to pass out or die. My legs and body started like spazing involuntarily and twitching really bad and I just felt like I needed to leave. My legs and body kept doing that even throughout the night until the next day when I took a muscle relaxer and it stopped. That being said. Ever since then I’ve had this weird panic 24/7 or anxiety. I have all these physical symptoms. I’m constantly worried something bad will happen to me (medically), feel like I’m going to die, scared I’m going to die from like a heart attack or stroke or aneurysm, or something insane like that, I’ve been to the ER 2 times since then for my heart bc I’m convinced something is wrong with it or that I’m having a heart attack. I can’t trust that my body is healthy even though I’ve been told and I have all these weird symptoms and sensations that make me feel like it’s not just anxiety. Like I don’t understand if this is a trauma thing or anxiety. Or I don’t even know if all these sensations are real or in my head. I just don’t know what to do anymore I feel so lost and drained. I’m scared that I’ll never be myself again or that I’m broken or that there actually is something wrong with me and I’m right. I actually ended up going to the ER again last night bc at work I all the sudden felt this heat down the left side of my body and neck and thought I was going to pass out or was having a heart attack. Everything at the ER came back fine and they said it was probably just anxiety. It just frustrates me bc I want to believe I’m healthy but these feelings I have that something is wrong with my body, the when seeing ppl post how they got brushed for anxiety but it turned out to be serious makes me feel like I’m right and there is something wrong with my body and no one is listening to me. I just thought it would pass by now, I’m 22, these are suppose to be such prime years. I have a boyfriend and a good family and I can tell this is draining them because it’s so repetitive, I’m draining myself. I just don’t know what to do anymore.
Cartoons have so many hidden messages
I like finding different perspectives in everyday things just to entertain myself. Today I realized something funny, anxiety and Scooby-Doo actually have a lot in common.
