Welcome to the Leftbehindmind Community🧩
👋 Welcome to LeftBehindMind. You’re in the right place. I’m Terrell, your coach. I created this community because I know firsthand how overwhelming anxiety can feel. A quick backstory: I grew up with anxiety mostly social anxiety and after losing a loved one in 2019, I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. My anxiety became intense and turned into health anxiety. In 2021 alone, I went to the doctor or ER 25 plus times. When I wasn’t inside, I was in the parking lot trying to talk myself out of going in. Nothing seemed to help. Eventually I realized something important. No one else could break this cycle for me. I had to educate myself, rewire my mind, and rebuild my nervous system. That journey is what led me to helping others. 🌱 Why this community exists Anxiety makes you feel like an outlier like nobody else is experiencing what you are experiencing. But you’re not alone. This group exists so we can: • Share our experiences • Track our progress • Celebrate wins and learn from setbacks • Learn the tools that helped me break free ✨ You belong here. Let’s heal together.

Morning Anxiety Tip 🌞
If you wake up with anxiety, stop checking in with it every 30 seconds. One of the biggest mistakes I used to make was waking up and immediately asking myself, “Do I feel anxious today?” The second I started scanning my body for symptoms, I was already feeding the cycle. Instead, get up and start your day. Drink some water. Get some sunlight. Go for a walk. Hit the gym. Do something productive. Anxiety wants your attention. You don’t have to give it all of it. Just because you woke up anxious doesn’t mean your entire day is ruined. Some of my best days started with anxiety. Keep moving forward and let your actions lead the way, not your feelings. 💪🧠

Morning Anxiety Tip 🌞
Happy Men’s Mental Health Month
40% of men have never talked about their mental health. Not because they don’t struggle. Not because they don’t care. Because many were taught to carry the weight alone. To stay quiet. To “man up.” To keep pushing no matter how much pain they’re carrying. So they suffer in silence. They smile when they’re hurting. They tell everyone they’re fine when they’re barely holding it together. They avoid asking for help because they’re afraid of being judged, rejected, or seen as weak. But here’s the truth… Strength isn’t pretending nothing affects you. Strength is being honest about what you’re carrying. Strength is facing your struggles instead of hiding from them. The moment I stopped running from my anxiety and started confronting it was the moment my life began to change. You don’t have to fight every battle alone. Someone needs to hear your story Your mental health matters.Your story matters. And asking for help is one of the strongest things you can do.

Happy Men’s Mental Health Month
Your greatest investment is your mental health
You need to hear this: The power of improving your mental health is that it can completely change the direction of your life. I see people talk about “locking in” all the time, chasing goals, grinding harder, and pushing themselves to the limit. But too often, they forget that success means very little if your mind is falling apart behind the scenes. Taking care of your mental health isn’t a distraction from your goals. It’s the foundation that helps you reach them. Work hard. Stay disciplined. Chase your dreams. Just don’t forget to take care of the person who’s doing all the work. 💙 #mentalhealthawarenessmonth #mensmentalhealthmonth #mentalhealthtips #anxiety #selfdevelopment

Not afraid to be alone anymore
You know, at one point when I tried to make plans with everyone and it would fall through, I would feel like it’s cause they felt a certain way towards me or something. I would just flood my mind with a ton of negative thoughts toward myself and be discouraged from doing anything. After so many years of choosing those negative thoughts, I finally chose me. Going to an MLB game by myself for the first time after trying to get people to go with me and plans continuously falling through. Idc if it’s me or not, I’m not afraid to do things alone and I’ll have fun all on my own. Shoutout LeftBehindMind!!
