Back to school?
For some of you this is the month - others have already returned.
Back to Skool?
Well - I’m not sure if you can call this “back” - because this month really represents the first month of this community. An exciting start to what I plan to work towards making a valuable resource for anyone that joins.
Skool represents an interesting opportunity to form a real community around those of us that want to use Educational Technology to improve teaching, learning, and productivity. It’s the first time that I’ve found a place that I think such a community can actually be built and thrive.
Previously, I thought about Facebook groups - but they never really gained much traction for me - and I didn’t like the interface, advertisements, and general functionality of them, Here on Skool, it seems that by paying the $9 a month (or $99 per month as the community grows) - I’ll be able to better serve and support a true community.
So - if you have joined and are reading this - welcome. As I write this - it’s just me here, but I’m optimistic for this September start to what I hope will be a worthwhile place for all.
