There IS homework - because learning takes effort, but you still have time to complete it if you would like to join us for the Sunday review session. Of course, you are also welcome to join us next Wednesday, where we build on our knowledge and start looking at the Research behind effective learning. Excited to have started this group and looking forward to seeing the results.

We have all seen the employee who has a skill, learned how to access the SQL database, use the whiteboard, and they think their job security depends on keeping that skill to themselves. They are wrong. If you want real job stability, as soon as you learn something, offer to teach it to others, offer a lunch talk. Managers are always looking for someone who can master their given assignment and are available to take on an even more challenging one.

This is a quick note to remind everyone that our fist - completely FREE 4-week cohort on using AI to Learn more effectively is just 4-hours away! This is the first time I'm offering these sessions and you're invited. Wednesday evenings 6:30pm (mountain time) - that's 5:30pm for the pacific time zone folks - and all sorts of times for those across the globe :) On Wednesdays I will share effective techniques and strategies and give you something to work on for the next few days. Sunday (9am mountain) - this is the day to share your results and look at how we can work on things together as a group. It's 4-weeks, 8 sessions.

It's a bit later on Tuesday - but it's still Tuesday :) My first Tech Tuesday video is out. The idea is to share some of the tech that I have (or that is sent to me) and how it can be used with intention in learning, teaching, and becoming more productive. The Bigme B7 Color Tablet was sent to me and I was worried at first. It was a little challenging to get used to, was slightly slower than I thought it would be, and I was trying to figure out where it fit. Then - everything changed. I became familiar with it and it's starting to deliver more and more value - all in one reader.
